I've the jadefang combo on my main, and at one point had the red core hound combo (now have chom instead). Though on a lowbie alt I did tame the Stormcrow in Howling Fjord, and bough the owl hawk pet in darnassus (black owl...close enough for my amusement)

I sort of wish my hunter was my main, simply for the sake of pairing up the mini pets with their combat-capable counterparts, but since all but 2 of the pets I have are on my shaman, I'm thinking it would be a bit too... expensive... to start over. But grats to those of you who are able to get them together like that, they look great

i've seen four people with the fox minipet...the very next thing i'll farm after i get my sewer beast! prolly will tame the red fox to then ^^

It goes sometime for 10-20k gold depending on the buyer (or even higher). Before the pet wasn't of Epic Quality, sometimes people would put it up for a few gold by mistake (since it used to be a regular white item)

On my server there's usually about 2-3 in the auction house going for around 6k.
They've become much more common since Cataclysm for some reason so the price has gone way down.
I don't know if there was an increase in drop rate or what but it's pretty nice.
Apart from the fact that I couldn't farm it and paid 10k for mine... worth every copper.

I have Aotona and really wanted the identical mini pet. Sucks on my server I have yet to see it sell for less than 9,000g before, and after Cata.

I kind of gave up, tamed a green one and bought the green mini. Works out though because my hunters name has Green in it, which is also my favorite color. So I guess its all good.
