Just one quick note here.. You do know you can have up to 25 pets total. You can have 5 on your active bar and 20 in the stables. You can easily play with 5 buy dismissing one and calling another as long as they are on your active pet bar, and if you want to swap out some with the one in your stables, you can go to a stable master and change them around.

I had no trouble taming Terrorpene at 85. I had just flown over the lava and saw him walking around, dismounted in mid air, took some fall dmg and landed in lava, hit tame and finished with around 30% hp left. His beam does hurt, but it shouldnt be enough to kill a lvl 85, I think I only had around 90k hp at the time.

I also had just come from taming Ghostcrawler, and right after Terrorpene I went and picked up Jadefang, I dont know if the server had recently reset or if I was just having a very lucky taming day lol.

Awesome! yeah I'm gonna pick up a few more pets. I've only had 2 up until level 85... both cats.

gratz! strange how he gives some people a hard time and some people he just surrenders to, in my tame he didnt even wack me down one tenth of my health, he just totally surrendered to me. But that was FlaminHomer and he just wanted to come hang with me and be my partner of crime as I battle my way thru earthan ring!

For future reference--I didn't see it said, but not sure--

Deterrance doesn't help with taming just because it makes you PARRY everything, but you cannot PARRY while channeling.

This will change next patch, when Deterrance changes to make everything cast at you Miss or be Deflected (for physical dmg + spells respectively).

I'm glad all the work panned out. He's a Really handsome turtle.
