I like Razzys ones the most as it fits in with the WoW ranks and we are a WoW forum. just my 2 cents

Agreed on that, those ranks look amaying. I'm not too big on the pawprint idea. Maybe felguard footprints instead? ;)

Would only work if this was a warlock forum. But it's not. Tis hunter forum and pawprints are the guild emblem.

Okay, serious time: I like those Hunter Trainer and stuff ranks, they look awesome. I'm just not too big on the idea that an animal walked over me, which is what pawprints tends to indicate. Perhaps just a simple filling bar?

Yes it does kind of give the impression of an animal walking on your photo :S

Well considering you have 25 animals to take care of, you're bound to be walked on. they look like stamps to me.

I don't have 25 animals to take care of . I'd just rather have the rank titles than the "stamps".

Agreed Cowmu, even if I am inclined to say that that system isn't optimal either. I'd much prefer a little bar that fills up as you post.

Seems a lot more, lease those commented here, do like them. I like them lots. thats why i suggested them. the labels are too bland/boring/overdone. I see them all the time in wow. Why would I wanna look at em in a forum? Just sayin....i'd rather be creative with a forum about hunters and their pets. Pawprints are perfect for that.

I have to say the Pawprints kind of make it look like we are given those stickers they give to kids for being good :S

I like the way Mania's portrait looks at the moment with the Hive Queen title there and the paw prints underneath it. This is a hunter forum, the pawprints make sense and it doesn't look like they're running over your portrait because they're underneath it.

Fine, pick the stupid pawprints, just as long as there's a rank without them. They look stupid, and it gives the IDEA of walking over the person, regardless of where they are.

Not quite sure where you're getting that idea since it's a straight bar, not an animation of walking. *sigh*

This is a brainstorming thread, so it's great to see a variety of ideas put out to mull over and discuss. Everyone will find aspects that they like and dislike, but please keep in mind that nothing here is set in stone. This is all just to get the creative juices flowing. No need to lash out, instead just present your own thoughts and perhaps add some ideas of your own.

Yeah, I was thinking of something with the pets too, just haven't come up with a good way to implement them, especially since opinions about which pets for the higher ranks would be so varied what with everyone having their own favorite pets.

Well maybe a poll can be held. Mania can pick her favorite. Mods can pick their favorite amongst themselves. Have polls for the other ranks.
