Ohhh, jeez. This is tough.

Even though I'd love to keep my black warpstalker, I'd probably keep my blue vulture, Virgil. Even though his wingspan can be a little bothersome sometimes, I've really grown attached to that silly bird.

I'd keep my Loque. (For my purposes, Loque is a she). She has a special place in my heart due to her name, which is Digger - the name of my kitty I had to put to sleep last year on my wedding anniversary. :( I had her almost my entire life, and now she is with me in game as my spirit kitty. So while I love all my other pets, she is the one with the most importance to me.

I love Loque'Nahak too probably the longest tame i ever got, i do kind of wonder about the she thing tho since you can find Loque'Nahak's female mate in Zul'Drak.I also think i shouldn't have visited her with Loque 'cause she said something about me being her demise go figure.

Oh, absolutely. But, this is one of those "If you could only have/keep a single _, who/what would it/he/she be and why?" topics, which is a common way of asking people what they are the most attached to. It's subtly different than asking which is your favorite pet; my answer to that question would be different than what my answer was to this question.

Ah yes, I can relate; family dog that I was very attached to, and it was sometime while I was on vacation for a week to celebrate my birthday. Ruined the rest of the month, and my birthday falls right in the middle of August.
Now that you mention it, I think I ought to tame the Lone Hunter on my second hunter once he is level 41. It should help me out. Thanks for the idea!

Let's see...I would totally hate this change personally, but I think we can all sleep well knowing it will probably never happen...

Either way..let's see here...For Evandelle, my main horde hunter, I would say the choice is easy. I would keep Shen, previously Echeyakee, because I've had him since Evan was level 16, and he is her best friend...He got to 60 with her, and then 70, 80, and then 85.

For Bessatrix, previously Eribess (went through a goblin change :P ) my main horde hunter, I would say it's pretty hard to choose just one. I've grown pretty fond Kix, her King Krush because green and green is a good combination...but thinking about it...I'm really attached to a plain brown bear I tamed on a whim in Grizzly Hills, but then totally fell in love with named Kodian, she's probably Bess's best friend..maybe... :P It's hard to choose!!

I... gotta say that for Rassaa, I'd choose Tinder. I don't even use him that much anymore, but it's ALWAYS been Rassaa and Tinder.
(Red lynx)

And for Vallrok? Faron, my skoll, of c- wait. NO! He has a ghost hydra! ARGH! I can't decide!

For Bluefur, his Arcturis, hands down.

For Tain, Lerk, her constantly changing vulture.

For Kenterson... Of all his wolves/dogs, I think his favorite has to be DonJohn, the Blackrock Battle Worg. Besides, it took a lot of deaths to get that guy.

For Sersallia it would have to be Meza, hands down. If worse came to worse I could not function playing with out her again.
Image

For Rarako it would be a close race but I think Vasha would be her pick over Zora (Zarakh).

Niori would stick with Nastas, the only pet that is not really part of her black/white theme. Go figure....

Reiza would need to keep Arden, no way could she trek out into the great unknown with out her guardian.

Really easy call.

For Problem, Solution:
Image
He was her first permanent pet, excluding a temporary kitty named "Impermanence" that I used to get her from level 10 to level 23 (at which point I dropped the temporary kitty, sat Problem down at the tree in the Barrens and camped until Humar showed up). I planned the whole character around this - even though she's now a blood elf, she was originally a white-skinned, white-haired draenei, and I wanted the contrast.

For Vanity, Pride:
Image
Again, first permanent pet, excluding Stupidface the starter crab. I'd originally tamed Gosh-Haldir on Problem, but they never clicked - then I rolled a goblin hunter because I wanted to see the starter zone, and as I was looking through pets to pick out some for her, I looked at Gosh-Haldir again and they immediately clicked. So I levelled Vanity to 15 and immediately dropped everything and did the long, grueling run to Loch Modan, and there the croc was, waiting for me.

Picking five each would be much harder. :|

That'd have to be my white lion, Kegan, hands down. He's my oldest pet, and the one I want to have with me until the end of my WoW career. he doesn't leave my active slots, he won't leave my hunter.

shame on you for making me think about this! T.T
at first i thought i would keep Shiftdormu (aka Chromaggus) took forever to tame him and i have wanted him since the first time i when in to bwl. but although he would be helpful in raiding i could not justify him for pvp against melee classes.
Then i thought i would keep kerrigan (brain bug) she is great for pvp and pve
but... in the end i would keep good old Phobos... first time i whent to darkshrore at lvl 10 i was attatcked byamoonstalker runt and paniced. i ended up hiting the tame button just so he would stop killing me. we have been together ever since- my first ever hunter pet <3 i vowed never to get rid of him. :)

The only pet I never got rid of, Giggler. Liked him so much, even kept his name the same as when he's in the wild, LoL.

Macha would keep Pantalaimon/Loque. He's the reason I made her, so it'd be a shame for him to not be her "only pet" if I had to have it be that way.

Lienda would keep Spottedleaf, her Ghost Saber. It was his first special looking pet and they just look so natural together, running about and taking down the enemies of the Horde.

I used poetic license to enable the use of the quote in a contextually correct manner!

*hand Saturo a handful of extra bonusgeek points though*

I was thinking the same exact thing Saturo (the exact quote thing) >.>

I'd have to say one of my wolves, or my tiger, or the blue/white chimaera I've had since before WotLK launch, or my Krush, or my Karoma, or my Gezzarak...

It'd actually probably be a tie between Shiver (Karoma) and Talisman (Lord Lakmaeran). I genuinely love my wolves too though... I'd never actually be able to make this choice
