You'll notice I wasn't talking about you, OP - I specifically mentioned that it wasn't you I was referring to. :P I'm not attacking you or, in retrospect, anyone here really, It's just something I've noticed that crops up time and time again.
What I was trying to say is that the majority - not entirety - of hunters I meet seem to think that if you don't rehome a tameable rare or at least try, you're a terrible person because someone, somewhere, wants it and has been looking for it. I understand that it's disappointing to see him kill it, and I honestly didn't mean any offense when I posted. I've lost pets on my hunter and I've seen tameable rares killed on my warrior, so I know how it feels from both a hunter and non-hunter perspective. I just think it's an issue that needs to be addressed, because while you behaved in a calm and rational manner, I have been on the receiving end of some nasty attacks that come from someone who is most definitely not.
Truly I'm rather interested in where the whole thing started, and why it became such an issue. I'm sorry for derailing your thread to rant, though. ;)
