More good news, just snagged Zora in Silithus. Funny thing is I'm lucky I actually saw her with my own two eyes.. she wasn't in my Npcscan so it didn't go off. Noticed her colors patrolling towards me. Lucky tame!

Taking lessons from my Zora experience, I'm adding more rares to my Npcscan as I go search for them.

Just got The Razza. He was hovering all by his lonesome at his new spawn point 84, 49. Gonna take a gander for a few more while my luck is on

Also snagged the Silithid Harvester and Evalcharr. Heading over to Eastern Kingdoms now.

Ended my rounds with Ashtail.

The last one that I *really* want and will have to put alot of time in for is Madexx. I'd still like to get Rex Ashil, Spite or Zari, Olm or Aotona, Sambas or Pogeyan, and then Arcturis or Gondria. So 5 more + Madexx. Let the hunt continue..

Got up a bit early before work to see what was up and about this morning. Managed to find Rex Ashil, Spiteflayer, and to my surprise Karoma. Was taking a look for Sambas and decided to take a quick peak near Bloodgulch on my way to High Bank, and there he was at 62, 57. Nice start to my day

Grats! I'm really happy for you. I have a good Jadefang story. I was playing a night elf character at the time (now a human named Buitre if anyone wants to add me. I play on Quel'Dorie) and I used the night elf ghost trick to get up there, as Deepholm is bugged for me and I am unable to quest to that point. I stood in the cave for a few hours, when, Oh noes! A troll mage shows up. She looks at me, no emotes and leaves, Iloved her for it and told all my guildies About an hour later an undead shows up (don't remember the class) and stands at the entrance. He looks at me and starts the usual immature emote spam and starts kill spiders. I ignore him and he eventually leaves. The troll mage comes back, sees me and leaves again (I really loved for that). Sadly, he didn't show up after about 7 hours and I gave up. /Sadpanda. A few days later I go back. I enter the cave and go upstairs to grab some drawing paper. As I walk back into my computer room, giant green squee spider appears right in my face. o_o. Tamed, he is so adorkable! ^_^

Needed no help...in fact, I ended up just outlasting them. They showed up again at about 2am and waited till 3am before all three logged at the same time (make any conclusions you want). I ended up staying up till 7:32am PST (no spider so went to bed). Just a little bit ago, around 3:47pm EST, NPCScan went off and I'm now the proud owner of an emerald green rock spider (named Linkara after the web shows that kept me from going insane while waiting)

I was AFK when he spawned for you, but was kinda not...I was alt+tabbed and didn't really want to snatch away something you ended up waiting over a day for. Patience goes a long way and is always rewarded in the end.

Aw that is a good story, grats to you guys on your pretty new pets =)

Not many hunters on my server must be rare hunters. Just got Pogeyan, Deathmaw, and Zaricotl.

Also Shadowclaw and to my surprise Arcturis.

Hey! You're on my old server. It depends on the rare, really. I had a time of it getting Loque on my Horde hunter.

Got Duststalker a little bit ago. And after spending the last few hrs going back and forth looking for Madexx, Sambas, and others.. I decided to log on my priest (who logged out in Sholazar Basin) to see if Krush or Aotona were out and about yet.

Npcscan alarm! Aotona's awake..

I immediately log onto my hunter. But oh no... hes in Uldum... and my Hearthstone is on 24min cd cause I had just recently used it

I do a /who mage uldum and send a tell to the two available. First one doesn't respond. Second one finally replies. I politely ask to purchase a Dalaran port, tip the mage, and fly like the wind to the Basin. Theres two other lev 85s there, non hunters, so I was somewhat worried they were working on their Frostbitten achievement.

I arrive at the general location where I found him on my priest. Nothin. I didn't have time to reset my Npcscan so I'm just typing /target aot.. fly around a bit, still nothing. Starting to get more nervous. Frantically, I make the decision to exit the game and reset my cache so I won't miss her if she is indeed still there. I quickly do so and log back in, I fly about 20ft and **Npcscan alarm** Got her Whew, that was a nice little rush!

im looking for Pogeyan on my BE hunter atm.. 3 hours.. my Lady X caught her after about an hour

I never did the quest chain for it It was already something I thought of when I was trying to figure out an efficient hunting route, heh. But ya, I should get that done for future situations.

^-^ just turned back to WoW and saw pogeyan wandering around... apperently she was wandering for 4 minutes before i got her (speakers silent and npcscan never confirmed her ID so i thought it didnt work but entered it anyways)

Nice Xakaal! For what its worth, I'm pretty sure the ID wowhead gives for her is wrong. Npcscan didn't go off when I found her either.

it is wrong-- her npcid is 51663 but npcscan doesnt tell you that its a tameable pet and seeing someone with it can cache it :/ it does however work ^^

Ah, good info. I'll pass that along to others that have trouble with it.
