*most relevant thread she can think of.*
I have noticed multiple folks having multiple images in their siggy. Mainly an image and then dragcave clickies. Should someone (I can, if needed.) post a reminder to the one image rule? Or should I just shut up and it's not that big a deal? xD

There's also been a few people whose sigs look too big (need to check on the size of mine since I'm worried it's too tall) as well. I haven't said anything about it since I'm not sure how hard you guys are enforcing sig size rules.

The rules for sig-size limits haven't worked for quite a while. I was able to put a 1680x1050 wallpaper as a sig, so... :P

Mm hmm, since the forum recognition hasn't been working I just notify people by PM who have images larger than the 800x300 size limit.

I'm glad there's a higher population, I've always lurked these forums even before I registered and I'm glad to see more people are registering and participating in conversation.
I'm even more enthused that there is a wider audience, ranging from very casual player, rper to theorycrafters and raiders.
Trolls themselves are never good, but I'm just going to pretend that they don't exist, since feeding them encourages them.

That's a 300x400 image. If you prefer, I've resized the image to a 225x300

Also worth noting that Vephriel's signature pic is 800x300 exactly, to give you a reference.

The previous sigs I've had were 800x300 as they were ones I made. I just didn't pay attention or something with this one. XD
Thanks for the resize.

I like the "family" feeling the community has. :3 I also enjoy reading stories about hunters and their pets, it should be a big motivation for others to work on their characters as well.

~ But yeah I understand people have questions that are new, but sometimes the questions are just mundane.... especially about certain rares I think. Heres an example of the question meaning and the actual post:
"Hi what is the spawn timer of Madexx could someone tell me what time they got him at and what color where is he located..."
then usually the post ends up something like:
"Hi what is the spawn timer of Madexx i used to camp for him all the time
QQ i saw a rogue once who have LOL killed Arcutirs while i was camping him could someone tell LOL me what time they got him at when the cata came i wasnt geared LOL and did BM and people were excited about my
posts and things of that nature with
having the LOL spirit beast that i like and what color when you saw him last and my friend Kyle said that he got a blue green when it goes blue green green red so i dont know LOL where that it or what it
seems to be like so many times
i try to camp him 40 hours QQ OOooOoo ROFL where is he located LOL i killed Loque
once because a horde was trying
to tame him arent i cool because that he was being mean to me since hes a horde and im a dwarf and i am annoyed at all horde since they LOL try and gank me all the time
"
(but with more twitter-facebook -esq abbreviations with the words)
I wish there would be a disclaimer:
(if you are posting multiple sentences, please use punctuation and a few line breaks or paragraphs would be nice too)
Thats what irks me the most, and if you havent noticed i tend to let the poster know when i'm peeved enough

I agree with that fixing!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks posting with some basic, clear English would be nice.

Especially if you're going to make a really long post or something. I understand if English isn't your native language, but that's no excuse for not being able to use punctuation and paragraphs to make your point clearer.

Honestly, posting in such an unformatted manner will merely increase the likelihood of me just glazing over the post, and not giving feedback. This is a forum; I'm not being addressed directly, and therefore can decline to comment without anyone noticing.

To be honest, even if the thread title catches my fancy, as soon as I see that wall of text with no formatting or anything, I do the same as you and skip over it. This sounds mean, but if you can't take the time to make it look legible, I can't take the time to read it.

My... brain... hurts...
I understand simple questions, but I do admit that the posts that are titled "i cant find maddex" or "weres karmoa" get skipped over. Look. If you want the pet that much, take the time to AT LEAST spell its name right. Even if you don't know English well, that part isn't hard.
The punctuation-less text bothers me to no end, but I can understand it if you don't know english well. However, sometimes it's just ridiculous.

Other questions that irk me are the ones people ask that can be answered either through the main Petopia website or wowhead. It really doesn't take that much effort to go look things up for yourself sometimes and ask if the info you want isn't available.

To clear things up we could just have like a thread for solely "pet tames" and "tame help" that would stop all the threads of "hey guys look what I tamed come congrat me and everything now!" and "wheres the fuck is so in bloody so" threads :S
Just my 2 cents as thats the main reason I don't go to the pet section anymore as It would be nice not to have to go though 20 plus threads about tameing the same beast......

yeah maybe a thread for Pet help specifically, that would make sense to me.

I like new folks signing up but agree 100% with what others have said in that it gets "clustery" when each day I have to go to the second page and half way down that second page just to get caught up since there are so many of "I tamed <RARE>" or "O M G" or something along those lines. I'm not saying people shouldn't post just that it being cluttered makes it really difficult to read.
And yes I am a bit nitpicky that some just post wildly instead of searching or at least seemingly attempting to search.
A "Pet Help" section would really help I think and save the discussion section for showing off and discussing not "OH NOES I CAN'T FINE <RARE> HELP!"
My brain is still a bit jumbled after my rough - emotional weekend so if this doesn't make sense let me know.

A thread should help a bit.
Just remember, everyone, that the best way to help new members fit in is to show them nicely how to fit in.

I don't worry about that much - we're such a friendly community.

Alrighty, so I've started up a sticky thread in Pet Discussion where we can redirect any sort of questions pertaining to finding a rare.
http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9828
Hopefully that will help a little bit with the clutter, I know there are many people that sign up sometimes to post a topic asking where to find info on [insert rare].
As for the rest of the Pet Discussion threads, such as 'I tamed [blank]!', I'm not sure if that's something that should be 'fixed' per se. I can see how that subforum does seem to move quickly with everyone posting a topic on their tames, but that's also the reason for it in the first place. If someone's been after a particular pet for a long time, it's very exciting to share the success here and create a new thread to talk about it.
Sure we get some repeats when people find the same rare and each person posts their own topic about it, but I don't think something like a general sticky would be the best idea as an alternative. I can see how it could consolidate things by allowing people to post their latest and most recent tames all in one place, but it also takes away some of the fun of sharing a tame that means a lot to the person by lumping it in to a multi-page thread.
