Hee! ^_^
Yeah, nothing special done here either. Business as usual.

Basically, nothing that wouldn't happen on any other day.

<3 bf!
Also, pfft, who said all females like flowers? I certainly don't care enough about them to truly have a favorite.

I dunno, people were defending the whole flower thing D: maybe because they personally like flowers I don't know but it just seems like from everything I've seen today that most chicks enjoy flowers D:

I agree with what was said up above somewhere, it's the gesture more than the actual flowers. It's something that my husband can give me that shows a little extra effort (at least with my husband, he is particular about the flowers he gets me. I guess grabbing a bunch in the grocery store check-out line isn't quite the same.

) but it doesn't actually have to be flowers. Most of the time when I get a bouquet, it ends up wilted and with me dreading having to wash out the vase.

I much prefer an actual plant or, ya know, chocolate is always good.

My day has been great so far. My sister's and auntie were my valentine's for the day. Everyone is leaving this afternoon /evening. I worked out and got my sweat on, and my ass kicked. Going out with friends tonight probably for dinner but we'll see. <3

Well, this is true.
I just had to look at the actual concept of flowers and say, hey, we don't all want that particular token! xD

A lot of people seem to be single this Valentine's, myself included.. and likewise, the few people who i'd actually consider "friends" are all single as well. I think Valentine's Day is sweet and it's great if you have someone to share it with... But it's no more meaningful than any other day of the year - save the aniversary - and definately not much of an excuse to go out of your way and blow all of your money on unnecessary gifts.
Well I have no idea how the backstabbing, socialite, air-headed girly mind works (thank goodness we have none of those on these forums..) But if I were a girl, i'd much prefer potted flowers that I can put near the window or in the back yard as opposed to severed flower heads that've been handled half a dozen times before even arriving at the store (or stolen from the next door neighbour's garden.) <3

I'd steal flowers from my neighbor. But only because it'd be cool.
Person I give flowers too: I like them! Where'd you get them?
Me: The...McGreggersons?
Person: Oh my gosh, you stole their flowers?!
Me: Well, yeah. I got to barrel roll into the garden, ninja creep to them, subtly slice them off, then run like all hell broke lose.
Person: You're frikking nuts.
Me: Yeah!
