I have tamed one of every species just to say I did. lol Now, that being said, most never did anything for me and were just tamed to say I did it. Out of all the models, Hyenas don't do much for me. Probably the only thing I wouldn't tame again unless absolutely necessary.

Gorillas....will never, ever tame a gorilla. Too blocky and the butt scratching just puts me off.

Sithlids - Although I love the alien look and the colors..they are just too busy for me.

Tallstriders just don't appeal to me, but in all honesty i've never tried one.

Hee, I certainly know the feeling, but I gotta admit once I went and tried one I just fell in love.

Hm, I can't think of any family that I absolutely would not tame. Hell, I'd probably get one pet out of every family if I could. Yes, even a Spirit Beast.

Gorilalla-just not appealing to me at all, even when they where "the" aoe tankin pet
Bats-just some very ugly models

One that aren't bad but personaly dont see myself taming
Tallstiders
Ravagers
Crocolisks-something about the constant hissing
Spiders-the big ones
Wasp-arent all that bad, but if i could get my hands on the White silithid model I'd be all over it.

At one point I probably would have had hyenas on the list somewhere but when I made my hunter in the Petopia guild I pick one up in the barrens just goofin around taming random things, and it kind stuck on him. So now Dark and Jack are often seen runnin around.

There are several families that I would never tame a pet from, as well as skins from families I like, but would never tame the specific look.

First, the families I will never tame from...
Bats - I hate the look of them and the flapping annoys me, more so than any other flying pet.
Boars - I sort of like the black/blue armored one, but their faces bother me too much to consider trying one.
Crocodiles - Hate the sound the make. Real crocodiles creep me out as well.
Scorpions - Don't really like the idea of them. I've never even thought about taming one.
Serpents - Snakes scare me more than anything, so having one for a pet is out of the question.

The few skins I can think of that I don't like are the diseased ones. I have a wolf and bear, but I never considered a diseased skin for either of them. Sort of makes me feel like my pet is sickly and going to die.

I also don't care for the plainer models on animals such as birds, tallstriders, or even cats. I prefer the more colorful, out of the ordinary skins I guess.

there are many that i dont care much for

1. gorillas. just no, dont even like em in real life. ugly and the buttscratching reminds me of an old perverted man.
2. Ravagers. nothing againt em per say but i just couldnt bring myself to like em.
3. Boars. same as ravagers.
4. the tarantela model and most old spiders. i quite like the lava model but..i just can bring myself to like em :l
5. Bears. i have had a couple and they did their tanking jobs very well. but i couldnt attach myself to em. also im sceptical to bears in real life.
6. Old wurms. i like the model of their heads but i find em a bit to plain.
7. Crabs. they move wrong! crabs runs sideways damit!

hyenas, tallstriders, northrend wolves, turtles, crocs, plain female lions are also among my list of pets i just cant make myself to like.
I love the hyenas colors but it just doesnt click. same with tallstriders. love the pink and the darkshore ones but still cant bring myself to keep em for long.

First, I'm gonna have to rise to the defense of some I like.

I think gorillas are cool-looking pets, all burly and tough, and kind of smart-aleck. BUT I wouldn't tame them now, because of their useless ability! And to me, boars are adorable! They do that little butt-wiggle, like they are about to pounce on something, just like a dog would. I also think that spiders, bats, hyenas, bears, ravagers,wasps make cool pets with the right hunter

All pets deserve equal loving, but these are the ones that I'd prolly never tame myself:

Carrion Bird - Vulture form...just bugs me for some reason, though I've tried multiple times. Thank goodness for

Small worms - its...a squiggly worm

Raptors - tamed these multiple times, can't seem to bond with them

Dragonhawks -

I hate dragonhawks because they don't have any legs! They don't even get the wind serpent excuse of a long body to coil up in--they simply have no legs! That's why I dislike them--it's like they're constantly flying for their whole lives!

Moths- its...a moth. Moths are one of the most fragile creatures I've ever encountered, I wouldn't send one to fight for me.

Windserpents - This one is personal. I had tamed one and the darned thing would fly way off, outta range, grabbing all the mobs, die quickly and then then all the mobs would attack me. *grrr* Never again! LOL

Moths > Devilsaurs.

I'm surprised at how many people dislike boars! I've always loved them to pieces, and have had one on every character (I don't have one now because I wanted to try something different, so I got a turtle). I love their butt-wiggle, I love their squeal as they're rushing into battle, and I love their run! <3 If we get more stable slots, I'm gonna have to go get another just because I love them.

I love pigs in real life, though, which may have something to do with it. My nickname in high school was "Pig".

Dont ask me why but i like the bats in wow.Pre -tbc when i whas lv13 i tamed ressan the needler(lv11 rare whit bat).He whas my main pet between lv 13-70 for almost everything,even for leveling.Now i still have him.
Its sounds maby strange but i feel a bond with him.

Spiders. Having Arachnophobia IRL, Its just... no... just... no.

Bats. They're models are just so, lack luster. Its their face that bugs me. If they looked like most REAL bats, I'd have one in a heartbeat.

That's about it, I'd be up for taming anything else if their abilities became better or their models got new color combos.

Bears- Its not that they're bad, and the do have a great ability, I just dont like any of the models...Too plain I guess.
Crocolisks- I feel the same way about them as bears, they need some new models then I might get one.
Old carion birds- I just find the old vulture model to be ugly, especially their eyes. Though I do like the new Nr condor models as well as the crow ones.
Crabs- Meh would be better with some butter and cocktail sauce.
Gorillas- Just plain ugly to me, even in real life. And their ability is just too... situational..
Rhinos- hmm just dont like them for some reason
Spiders- I dont care for most of their models, though there are a few I do like.
Boars- same as spiders, there are few I would tame.
Tallsriders- dont care for them.
Turtles- same as above.

I love real bats. They can be pretty cute. I'd be onboard if they were more realistic. I also dislike bats because I remember at lower levels, trying to get through a bad area quickly, and they'd chase me forever, making that horrible noise...

1.Bats - I don't like bats. Their screech is annoying. Their ability is kinda useless...and...they look weird.
2.Bears - They got a big butt. Their running animation sucks. and it seems like they angry all the time.

5.Core-Hound - They're too big.
6.Rhinos - Too big and ugly. <.<

SPore bats and nether rays rent useless! Nether rays have a nice pvp move! =[

There are a lot of pets that have better PvP move. If you like Nether rays and Spore Bats, good for you. I don't like them and they're useless. If they had such a PvP move, why don't I see more hunters with them in BGs? Anyways... *Shrugs*

Ravagers.... They are ugly to me...Only ravager i ever thougth was cool was one named Zhahadum.. After the shadows in babylon 5.. but that didt make me like them more.. they are evil to me..
Rhinos.. i dont mind the animation.. but the noise.. the noise.. no thanks
Corehounds.. same with the sound.. stomp stomp stomp beside u... bah
The undeadskin Boars, bears and wolves.. i dont like those at all.. they´r creepy
Northrend wolf modal.. bleargh bad design from blizzard imo

I love goriallas and would add them to my pet stables.. if there was room !

Bats.. well i dont mind their look.. but i would never tame one myself... I had one when i ran western pleaguelands.. and the darn thing would bug and fly 100 miles away pull 5000000 ghouls and other undead, come back with them and kill me... so no.. just no
