United Healthcare turned us down for health insurance: my husband for being too big and me down for being bipolar. I told our local insurance guy just to get us another high deductible/HSA deal, but he thinks he can get us real insurance if he just finds the right company. It's fucking humiliating to be turned down like that, though, and a hassle to keep filling out the apps.

I know how it is, I'm getting "punishment fees" for smoking, and motorcycle insurance would have been more expensive for me simply because I'm female. -.- It's stupid.

Well, I never bought the motorcycle because of that. I still get to ride it, I'm just not the owner.

is charging extra for insurence because your female even legal? Seems to me something that sexist would be grounds for lawsuit...then again I dont know where you live so I dont know the laws there...but still, that seems very wrong...

Move to Canada then! It's the reverse here. You pay more as a Male then you would Female. Not sure about Motorbike insurance but I know it's that way for cars and trucks. It usually has something to do with what gender has had more accidents overall. Being younger can cost you more as well.

I abruptly entered a hypomania state tonight. For me, that means I'm angry - really angry, punching doors angry, yelling obscenities at little old ladies angry - for no particular reason. I took a Xanax, which doesn't make me any less angry but does make me too tired to actually punch doors. (The little old ladies are on their own, though.) Unfortunately I still have paid work to do, which is going to be difficult.

My husband gently suggested that it might be time for the Xanax when I opened my e-mail and immediately shouted, "She's a silithid, not a face-sucking eel!" (Bonus points of you can figure out the reference. Vephriel is not eligible.)

Edit: ARGH! Can't anyone write code anymore? This is atrocious!
Edit #2: Where'd they put the frushing bloody level up screen? The thing called LevelUpScreen never gets bloody used!

Lol!! Oh geez I was thinking along the same lines when I saw that. Admittedly imagining your reaction just made it even better.

 *huggles Mania* Hope you feel better soon!

I hate how my friend who lives with me eats and drinks all of my things. I love cherry coke zero. It's my favourite drink well... Favourite right after cherry vanilla dr pepper, but that is hard to find. I always buy some if I see it in the grocery store when I go shopping. He comes upstairs with a 2liter of soda and I think nothing of it, he always does. I get a closer look and it's the soda I just bought. He tells me "I thought you didn't like cherry zero!" Why on earth would I buy it all the time if I hated it? Why would you take my soda when you got your own when we went shopping yesterday afternoon? Is it because I had he nerve to buy juice you can't drink because you're allergic to citrus and I'm not? Why do you eat all my snacks just because I eat them slowly and you eat like a starving lion chowing down on a freshly killed zebra carcass? God I hate you so much sometimes.

Ergh Lotusii, that sounds so aggravating. :/

I'm the same way with food...often I'll buy snacks and they last me forever since I take my time enjoying them. I hate it when people assume that just because it isn't gone within the first day of buying it, that means that I don't want it. It's irksome feeling rushed to eat something just so that I can actually have it for myself and not worry about that. ><

When people think its fine to send me PMs about why they don't like my art and act like I forced them to look at it I don't. Now I'm not gunna say if its people here or somewhere else I don't want to give them the limelight I just want to vent.

My mother always told me "if you haven't got anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all"!
