might be pardoned?
Veph, I'm with you. I went into the Johto E4 with my team leveled 40 - 44. I did pretty good. Until I got to Lance. And had my poor Vaporeon's tail kicked by his dragonite's Outrage. Followed by the rest of my team.

Dragonite lost some reputation there, that's for sure.
Haha, of course you're pardoned! I just have problems with the fanboys (Or fangirls if the case may be XD) who bash the other dragons. Besides, I adore Salamence too! And I'm also quite fond of Dragonite and Garchomp.
And jeez, is that the truth! Lance's Dragonites are ridiculous! Luckily, my Umbreon was able to stall the strongest one long enough for me to knock it out. Lugia's Dragon Pulse helped a lot too.

The silhouettes of the
starters were revealed today! They look okay, but I don't know about that one at the top right. It looks like turtwig and spoink combined...

Heh, yeah, the top one doesn't look the best.. But the bottom left one looks so adorable already! <3

I think I would like Dragonites more if they were blue or something. :/ The sudden switch from elegant blue serpent to ORANGE DRAGON just really doesn't sit well with me. I'm not going to let my Dragonair evolve because of that. >.<

Yeah, that evolution is a bit strange. If I didn't know Pokémon very well and was showed a comparison between Dratini/Dragonaire and Dragonite, I would never have thought the three belong to the same evolution line. I think something like a
Knucker or the
Chinese dragons would've been a bit more suitable. Of course, Dragonite itself is absolutely adorable. <3

I adore Drifblim so much! They're just awesome. I love the creepy vibe that they have despite being seemingly cute and innocent. x)

Exactly! They're just too adorable, but still have that creepiness! Banette and quite a few other Ghost Pokemon are also like that, which just makes me adore them even more! <3

Drifblim is very cute. <3 Though Drifloon kind of creeps me out after I heard that its Japanese Pearl Pokédex entry states that it drags little kids to the underworld or something unpleasant like that.

And that's why I love them. xD So awesome and morbid.

All my favorite pokemon, except I might trade Drifblim out for Articuno or Moltres since I'm such a sucker for legendary pokemon. cx

Nice picture. =)
However, your team with two water types and three flying types has a huge weakness to electric attacks. You might wanna replace Gyarados with a ground type (or teach him earthquake to help a bit).
I haven't had a pokemon game since ruby, but I just got heartgold a week ago. My boyfriend got me obsessed again, heh. I'm still learning about the new psychical and special split with moves now. That helps certain pokemon so much yet completely ruins others! I'm not sure what my final team will be. I'm trying to pick pokemon I haven't used before.

Having more than one of certain types isn't always a bad thing! Heck, sometimes people will make a team of just one type. Yes, they have major weaknesses if you don't think of ways to get rid of those weaknesses, but it can work out very well sometimes, besides, it gives you a good challenge! And though Electric Type moves are quite common, I wouldn't worry too much about it Veph, but I do have to agree with Wassa about giving Gyarados Earthquake if it doesn't already have it.

Mm, it may not be perfect, but I'll make it work. x) I really like those 6 and I'm not too concerned with a perfectly balanced team. I'd rather just have a team full of my favourites.

AHHH That comic was awsomly CREEPY!!!!! I love it!! heheheheeee.
Nice team Veph. Houndoom rules!! got to go with the ones that you love!
Just got my ars in gear and beat the elite four last night, it was pretty easy (all my pokemon are lv 50-55), and my Pupitar evolved into Tyranitaur, YAY *happy dance*
Houndoom single pawed took out Will, koga, and Karen. Feraligatr, Altaria, ariados and pupitar took out bruno, and then it was a combined effect or all my pokemon (houndoom, ariados, feraligatr, tyranitaur, Altaria, and leafeon).
Now I am on a boat!

So how about them 5th-gen starters?
The grass-type is a
little close to Treeko for my liking; ditto the otter and Buizel/Floatzel, but EEEEE PIGGY!
