yeah. i've had that happen to me 10 times! 8 where that he was stolen! the other 2.......

The only reason I cried is I didnt sleep I stayed up all night for a spawn, and all day. missed it once so i stayed up till it was killed by a druid. And no idea how i got flagged

I dont want to focus to hard I just missed Magria, my nps scan found her as I was logging to go to bed, I logged back in and someone was taming he. But If I get so damn into it again and I fail AGAIN then ill continue to be heart broken.

I even ignored the Skarr spawn afraid to move from Deths spawn point

Poor Thor...doesn't have the brain power to realize there is a thread for these things!

Full of sad stories like this. I hate hearing about people killing rares just cuz "they can" or "for the lulz" or even better, "for the hunter tears lol". That thread is full of them. All of us telling our sad stories and hopefully consoling one another.

(I jest about all the Thor insults. I just don't like the character. The person seems really funny. )

This isn't the rehoming room, but if it makes people feel better, I helped a dwarf tame Deth less than 30 mins ago on my server. No one else wanted him. He is very unwanted and unloved on my server. =(

lol that made me giggle, but yeah it made me feel better to say something or Id hunt that druid down and use him to level my leather working, im sure his pelt makes a great cloak. But Jessibelle has been amazing to me. But I better go to bed before she yells at me again

So wait, you were taming and a druid came and killed both you and Deth? I'm sorry your first post makes it sounds like Deth killed you and himself at the same time, but there is a druid involved somewhere? I don't know what is going on.....

I lost Deth to him getting too close while the tame was being cast. I couldn't get out of the way fast enough and he killed me and himself at the same time.

It kinda happened all at once. There was a druid killing her multiple times(somehow she got flagged) even though I told him to leave her alone.

I completely understand, I was determined to stay up all night for Skarr after camping for days already to just miss him. He was the only new pet challenge that I really wanted. I saw him killed, and lost the tame to others twice. I too am a girl and was very upset . I blame lack of sleep and OCD, lol. Finally got my Skarr though, I found it's best to try during odd hours, like early morning during the weekday. Best of luck

Now since I play on a PVP server (most of the time) so I cant really say if this is true or not because I havent really payed that good enough attention to my PVE Server lowbies, but...I -have- heard some rumors before where on PVE servers that once you just log into a character, you'll have the 5 minute PVP debuff thingy on you, just like if you popped out of a random battleground, even though you were just signing into the character. Maybe this is what happened?

Sib jsut got to the molten front today, and while I was doing dalies on my main my guildies saw him, so i swiched over to try and catch him ... was doign good... had a boomkin to brez me when he hit me with his death strike... we got him down.. and my pally friend couldn't get threat off ... i finally got teh tame going but he was too close when the tame started so he hit me again he was low enough that it killed him >< 3 hunters in the area all cried with me... including a troll hunter (i'm alliance) who rolled a lvl 1 toon to say they were so sorry that I didn't get him. Hopefully tomorrow
