OH! and of course, I found some Quilins, but they're the same as the one on the wandering isle and they're also marked as humanoids.

I see Loa and these gods as differnt types of gods so they don't need to look the same.

Maybe it's in a differnt plane of exsitance? I mean there are other dimentions in wow it easily could be that.

Spider.. spider.. scary scary scary holycrap i dont want to be anywhere neeeeeeeeeeear that spiderrrrrrrr!!!!!!! its way to big homg @_@ and its upside down ready to just slink its way down to the ground and sneak up on you and eat you alive (is totally paranoid by blizz's new way to instill the creep factor into spiders)

if that was to play.. or of someone played it.. i'd flip XD i love tarantulas, i have no qualms if it was a tarantula (but logically it wouldnt to my knowledge. Tho i am not entirely welcoming the idea of aboreal tarantula's crawling around in trees) but the smaller skinny variety.... Nuuuuuu....... the legs get to me. its aaalllllways the legs that get to me....

XD Thats a slight relief im still gonna be freaked out by it tho, i dont enter Deadwind Pass anymore unless im flying overhead cause of the hanging spiders >_>;; waaaay too creepy crawly for me lol

I am also disppointed by the transparent kitty. I'd appreciate more spirit-y beasts like Skoll and Loque. I personally didn't like loques body but the skin was nice. I like some fleshy pretties!

Ghost crawler is the only "spirit-y" skin I kind of like. Would like it more if it was a vanilla crab tho but it's nice. But I still wont tame it. XD

I appreciate the magria skin myself, she so bright that it helps counterbalance the see through part a bit. C:

I love Magria and Ankha and hteir brightness, it's just the overlapping can get a tad annoying. XD

I like looking at Ankha straight on though, like, this mass of glowy white. XD

Sorry to nitpick, but the spectral pets are translucent, not transparent. I was going a touch OCD reading the conversation...

I'm most interested in 'cookie's picture of the Mogu with the Granite Qilin!

It looks to me (and I know pics can be misleading) like the Qilin are being used as attack beasts. Which suggests (i) the family may become tameable (as cats?) rather than them being another sapient race, and (ii) maybe even the stone forms have a chance of becoming tameable if they can be used as attack beasts like this.

Of course the Qilin in the pic might be willing accomplices of the Mogu or something. I'm taking a few leaps of faith here.

Of note, Mania pointed out that the bestiary on the official site spelled their name as "Qilen". Not impossible since Blizzard sometimes do alter the names of creatures a bit. But the pic here suggests the site spelling might have been a typo.

Well, I think... can't the Mogu create other beings? I don't remember where I read that, but I was thinking the Mogu created the Quilin.

Also, if it was spelled as "Qilen" in the bestiary, they've fixed it.

Edit: Ah, here we go, from wowpedia: "The Mogu are flesh-shapers and can create other creatures. They are known to have created the Saurok‎ and Grummles."
We don't know much about the quilin yet so perhaps they created the as well.

It could be like Griffons? as in spelled alot of ways...... wait nope NVM XD they only spell it one way in WoW.

Yeah Mogu made alot of the races found in pandaland. Theres rumers they made the pandas too but they are just rumers atm. Allso in one of their raids there is titan like stuff so eather they where made by them OR are like them.

Sorry I've been drinking most of the day mate got engaged so that might be worse than my normal stuff XD

Might add this Mogu from wowpedia.

I also made the note that Kung Din (the named tiger questmob) is repeatedly referred to as 'King Dun' while you're actually fighting him.

Consistent, Blizzard is not. XD
