You know, I've never really thought about the good influences of Shrek. Probably because I was laughing at the comedic parts too much. ;)
But now I see it. Makes the movies even better. :)

lawl fiona should have stayed skinny heres the difference pandaren are a single race and while i dont think every gender of the same race should look the same(like wow) originally fiona was human had she been rescued by say a human(if possible at the time) im sure she would have ended up with the midget king and since she would have never met shrek she would have stayed human but instead she turned into an ogre which is supposed to appear ugly to others but fiona was suprisingly preety despite her transformation the ogres of shrek kinda look like a combo of orcs and ogres from wow i believe there was actually a race of half orc~ogre if im not mistaken(btw i do not mean to say green people that are chubby are ugly or that this is somehow related to people irl who might get offended)
(also i heard people talking about the female troll in the wow beta can u guys gimme a screen shot?

I remember you, Demonicow. And not fondly. Not surprised you think Fiona should have been skinny.

Female troll.

Rofl, Fiona was an ogre. She wasn't a "half ogre". The movie only ever explained her as being an ogre, so theorycrafting can't really change cannon.

Did the female trolls in beta use the same skeleton as the males do?

I think it was similar but not the same. Their standing animation looks like it holds the head higher and doesn't slouch quite as much which is probably different.

Hm, other than the oddly out of proportion forearms, I rather like them.

Yeah, I adore Alpha trolls. Though the arms are strange.

I think the arms make them look cool actually....

Heh, Fiona choosing Shrek and the life of an ogre is basically the entire point of the story. ;)

As evidenced previously in the thread, it should be completely doable for Blizz artists to come up with a feminine pandren without going overboard. Bears > werewolves, tbqh. :D

I REALLY wish they still had the alpha trolls. They looked like trolls, not female humans that've gone through rigid posture conditioning and then forced to wear troll booties and gloves. I like trolls, I like femme troll hair and color options, but the rest of them? I hate. Bleaagh.

And then there's the femworgen problem. I still hold the vain, never-to-be-fulfilled hope that they'll give in and just give us back the alpha worgens without the rabid chihuahua faces.

I love the original female trolls so much. <3 Very sad they didn't go that route for the final models. I still love female trolls, but the old models had so much more personality.

"fiona should have stayed skinny"

Your discourse shows you mean she should've stayed human, given the original plan. Thing is, she didn't, because she didn't have to and didn't want to.

"but fiona was suprisingly preety despite her transformation"

You appear to be contradicting yourself. Are you saying she looked okay in ogre form? That's not how you started out. Or should we interpret your message as "Fiona was meant to be a skinny human trapped in an unhappy marriage, but was transformed into a big happy ogre who was surprisingly pretty anyway"?

ok my bad i had forgotten that fiona was a half-ogre i simply mean that the ogres were terrifying and appeared ugly to the human people in the movie, now i had mentioned this many times before and ill only say it once more this time i will try using the simplest words to describe how i feel about overweight women and the like.

I do not mean to say that an overweigth woman is ugly or that because i happen to think skinny women are attractive that i obviously hate the exact opposite, ive done my best not to upset anyone and what i mean by being preety for looking ugly to others i mean that fiona has a much more pleasent appearance then say shrek has.

and yes Teigan i remember u as well ur the one who said u would forgive but never forget god knows i never forget but as before i was apologizing for something i knew would make people angry now im apologizing for something that is not at all directed towards anyone, every post i make extra careful so people dont have something to complain about

btw i completely forgot i thnk that the alpha troll pics look cool but i would still prefer the current ones even tho i dont play trolls lawl

(Psst. Fiona's not a half-ogre; she was a human placed under a spell that turned her into an ogre half the time until the spell was broken by love, enabling her to be one for the rest of her life - she chose ogre.)

Anyway, I agree that there is a tendency for "rounder" or "less attractive" races with pictured females appearing slightly more appealing than their male counterparts. Their more feminine features distinguish them from the males. Stereotypical or not, it makes these creatures' differences in gender easier for us to understand at a glance.

Fiona's not half-ogre, she's half-frog. :)

Fiona's lineage is irrelevant to the thread topic.

ok ok fine i didnt pay that much attention to it she was originaly human but she was put under a spell but thats not really what i first meant by when i commented, her whole apperance was based on her true love had she been with the king as she requested herself then she would have stayed human but she chose shrek which made her an ogre permanently.

everyone found out that it wasnt bad to be an ogre and they lived happily ever after and then shrek 2 and 3 came,
yes i think the build of fionas ogre form would be perfect for a female pandaren i also think it would be cool if there were different body sizes and shapes u could choose from in wow that way they will be more unique id like to see a slightly less buff tauren male or say a taller undead or say perhaps a bigger orc.

I want to make another dwarf now after seeing that-- and the conversations, i had one but deleted her cause i was making room for characters id actively play. She was an engineer (hate that profession if im building it up) for ammunition and didnt want to have to pick up a new prof at lvl 63 when blacksmithing is no good to a hunter (other prof was mining for the engineering mats)

Aaaaanyways, to tie the topic and the current conversation together, we need Ogre-Fiona sized pandaren woman, she is goegeous, they did an amazing job on her and i feel she has the perfect size and girth to each part of her body compared to Shrek, the male counterpart. Pandaren i dont think are much different in size if you dont include animation style since that puts very different perspectives when its two totally different companies who made these figures.

Essentially at the heart of this thread the majority that has posted here wants large pandaren women, not barbie doll women, we want chubby but well toned in their chubbiness so they look more like they are fit rather then slobs. The males are very well fit but they are very large, and so should their women ^_^ A skinny pandaren woman would be very weird anyways with their racial passive ability 'Bouncy'.

This is my own opinion, i have no idea what blizzards up to, but i feel that the 'bouncy' racial might be a type of foreshadowing of women pandaren to come. And most likely they will work harder on them after all the rage they recieved for half-crapping female worgen (though i do still play some female worgen over males but i do love the males more).
