With the battle for the Echo Islands now up on PTR and the revelation that the Durotar tigers there are really druids, perhaps the orange/black tiger skin will be their cat form. Whatever forms they choose I sure hope it's different than the Tauren animal forms. Wonder what they could come up with for Troll boomkins?

Does that mean the tiger I tamed long ago was a druid? I should have kept him. :p

I was really wishing for orange tiger skins if the Trolls got a tiger form... so I hope so. It would suit that Yellow haired one, I think.

Well, looks like the textures are real.

Found them after getting the latest alpha patch and the WMV dev version. After looking at them in motion, they're not that bad. The only one I still quite dislike is the blue haired one. The rest look fine, although very rough too. My best guess is that they'll be updated in the future.

Yeah I didn't see that coming at all. I was certain the Druid aspect came from the revelations in Zul'Drak. But I guess the two fit together (the Darkspear were in hiding while the Drakkari went mad, but in either case, Troll Druids have existed just not in an "available" way).

That said, I bet Vel'rin Fang feels a bit awkward now with his Practical Prey quest.

I was about to say....so that means we've gone and killed/skinned a bunch of Troll druids all these years? >.>

Technically not, since druids change back into their humanoid forms when dying. Even in lore.
They leave tiger-corpses.

Troll Druids are just that stealthy.

Wait... the Durator tigers are druids??? YES!!! That means druids are tameable!!! I just tamed one yesterday on my new Troll Hunter! rofl. {heads off to Northrend to tame a daggercap hawk in hopes of taming a 2nd druid. lol}

Ok, these look MUCH better than the other forms that were posted previously. I can't quite put my finger on it - I think these are a bit more stocky and muscular. The other pics had the legs looking too long and thin, or something. I actually do like these, but that teal-haired one is still kinda crazy-looking. It's interesting how they kind of took a different route with the troll kitties. Their skin tones are all very similar, so they made the manes drastically different. With the other druids, it's the skin tones that are more visually distinct from one another. I'm really liking the red-maned one, but the white-maned and dark blue-maned are really nice as well.

I do, too, but I do like the troll forms better now that I've seen a more finished product. I think what I don't like about them though is how their skin tones are so alike. The light one is the only one that really stands out. Sure, the teal-haired kitty has green skin, but it's really not that much different than the grays. I understand they were trying to stick with how a troll looks - muted green/blue skin tones with wild hair color. But I think that's what I least like about the cat forms. I guess for some reason I find varied skin tones more appealing than varied hair tones.

I think someone needs to keep blizz away from the crayola box... But colors aside the form itself I think is really neat. I guess trolls are more colorful by nature anyways. ...though I am a little afraid to see if they get neon green moonkins or something

That pic above came out around the same time as most of the other images, so it's not a more completed model it is the same. :\ I don't think anything has been updated with the troll kitties just yet. I think the fact that they are in actual poses helps give a better idea of them and it has a different lighting as well, making the hair brighter... that was the picture that made me think of sinister clowns. :p I like the muted tones a lot better. Here's a collection of most that's been shared so far to give a fair idea of how they presently are:

The one I like if I had to pick is the whitish one but that blue/black one omg he maks me laugh so hard with his big bushy eyebrows I see him goin "How you doin?" while wiggling them suggestively
