There's a
Cards Against Humanity card that literally says just that. That was the first thing that came to me anyway, granted it could be a reference to something hunter related as well.
BEST game EVER!

I agree!

The does are so cute! They can certainly fight with their hooves and bite.

Thanks for confirming!!

They are cute. I just had doubts since they have no antlers. I wonder if they will be used to replace does in Pandaria areas.

Wait.. how are you taming those? Isn't the taming bug still an issue?
Edit: Oh, they're a level lower than you. I guess they don't scale!

Just a heads up, while the major sites haven't mentioned it yet, the next build will almost certainly contain frost, fire and lightning raptors, based on the recent model!
The file names have appeared in the manifest, but it seems not all the required files have been included yet, so the sites haven't put up models.
It's highly likely these will be created for Shaman summons, so maybe we won't see wild and tameable ones in the short term, but I really hope we do some day. I'm looking forward to seeing them anyway

The latest build also included the new pack kodo, but I want to know for sure whether it's intended to be tameable (one has been reported tameable earlier) before I bother creating model shots. The reason is that they use the same skins as the mounts, which results in six colours (should be seven but purple is still missing). There are currently three different pack colours - green, Alliance and Horde. This results in a potential 18 different combos to take shots for. I'll wait and be sure

OOoooOooooo can't wait to see them none the less!
I'm guessing/hoping they'll using be the new (WoD) raptors too! The Spirit Raptor Glyph currently uses the old model (looks like the older blue model underneath?)

They definitely use the new model. The lightning one even has visible effects already. But there are no specific base skins for any of them (yet), and I couldn't see fire or frost effects on the other two, though the latter issue could be a problem with the modelviewer rendering.

I checked and they do all seem to scale with level. How are you seeing a level 100 doe when you are level 101?

FYI, I have confirmation that does are not meant to be tameable. I will leave them on this list for interest, but they won't be tameable in Legion.

Aw, that makes me kinda sad. I mean, I understand, the family is called stags after all and the males are a bit more dangerous looking.

Aw, I'm kind of sad. They looked like they could be pretty good pets, regardless of their appearance. They might not have antlers or anything, but I'm sure they could still deliver a nasty kick.
Oh well, maybe some day.

Aw, that's a shame, I was hoping they'd stay as well. They're such pretty models, and really, it doesn't seem like too far of a stretch. I know we should never look too closely at realism in terms of what can and can't fight well but I mean...

OK, it appears that the Grimtotem Pack Kodo (the only possible tameable pack kodo) is no longer tameable. That isn't surprising because previously pack versions of beasts have not been tameable (like the clefthooves in Draenor). Selfishly it also saves me making images for every last combination

I agree. We've got some pretty "non-threatening" looking pets as it is, does would fit right in. Plus, the deer in game fight with their hooves anyway so it's not like it's a stretch to add does. And does irl can kick and bite to deliver some mean damage. I think antlers are mostly used for mating displays and threats anyway (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

You could send a doe in front of a charging boss, and the boss would have to stop attacking and wait for a tow truck.

OH so the MALE deer can attack obviously, but a female could never do such a thing...
Have they ever been in the woods? A deer could kill you with one kick, not an animal you wanna get near regardless of gender.
