With your subspecies, Syleye, keep in mind that if you include coatls, they don't actually speak draconic so there would need to be lore given for how/why they're apart of the species and the means of communication.

Syleye: Your idea for a subspecies sounds wonderful! I really like it! The name made me smile too because my cousin Daxis and I have a plague subspecies called 'Nighthowlers'. :D

Tårnfalk: I'm liking that last sign for Falkor the best! <3 Oh, and darnit Tarn, now I need a triple orca ice flight gaurdian with those genes you previewed! This is YOUR fault.

So I got a little dilemma, I don't know which one of these I should keep on Teacup. What do you guys think???

She currently has the Arcane Tome on.
Image
Which fits well, but the book looks really clunky on a female Fae.

I also have the choice between the Peony bag, which obviously matches but is barely noticeable.
Image

Or the Golden Glow Alchemist Tools, which I like a lot but they don't really match her overall color scheme even though they don't look super clunky on her.

Yeah, I'm honestly liking the Tools more than the Tome or bag... it just seems to fit better, even tho the coloring doesn't match the rest of her

Alex I like the tools also

okay wound up seriously reworking my subspecies

The Spirit Touched
The spirit touched are a subset of light dragons. While no one is positive how they come to be, the legends say that they occur when the dead touch newly laid eggs at dawn or dusk. The touch changes the unborn hatchlings. These changes are both a blessing and a curse depending on how it is viewed. From the moment of hatching, the y can see the spirits of the dead and communicate with them. They also have an uncanny ability to tell when a dragon is going to die and whether or not they have killed. They can often be found talking to what looks like empty space. The touch also changes them physically, making them pale shadows of what they would have been. It should be noted that if spirit touched dragons breed they are able to pass along their gifts to their offspring.Occasionally these dragons are pulled to other clans around Sorienth, moved by forces only they can see.
Colors: Primary: Antique-Orca
Secondary: Antique-Orca
Tert: white range-black range
Genes:
Primary: Tiger/Vipera/Giraffe/Ripple
Secondary: Current/peregrine/Hex/ rare Butterfly
Tert: Contour/Spines/Underbelly/Thylacine/Glimmer
Breeds: Any breed can become a Spirit Touched
The Familiars of Spirit Touched are spirits.
Apparel: it is important that Spirit Touched dragons wear copper in some form to get them from being pulled permanently into the spirit realm.

Personality: Given to bouts of quiet contemplation interspersed with periods of high energy and movement. They are generally friendly, though some become numb to the thought of death and dying. Those that go that way are the fiercest combatants and prone to daredevil style activities.

I like the alchemist tools, personally. I like the pop of gold and think they fit fine. :)

Syleye, I like the concept for your subspecies. It'll be interesting to see more of it. You may want to include a bit mentioning whether or not these types of dragons live in non-Light lairs. :)

My pleasure. :) I enjoy doing this kind of stuff. I still need to get around to adding more stuff to the draco lore. Plus, my English class I'm in right now is a writing based class and I'm learning more techniques for critiquing.

Personally I think he looks good as any of the 20 day breeds, though my favorites are snapper and PC. I like him with petals/butterfly/spines. The pearl is kind of a contradictory color on him, but the butterfly fades out at the edges of the wings and makes such a nice color combo with the petals, imo.

Heh he will get glimmer as tert as his mate is getting that ;) And while i adore butterfly on him.. his mate got seraph so imo it be a waste of a gemgene... :D
