I think that we can all agree... The first English Pokemon song was by far the best, as far as english goes... (Errr, or am I being crazy? Cuz It's by far my favorite. )

That one, along with a couple others (Two from the 3rd generation, one from the 2nd.. All of which I can't remember the names of XD) are the best when it comes to the english ones. ... The Japanese ones are still better. Well, in my opinion at least =P

Hm.. also, didn't legal ownership of pokemon change hands from 4kids to some other company? I don't remember the specifics, but is there any correlation between that date and the songs worsening? The majority of the characters had their english voice actors replaced with a bunch of fails, I think it stands to reason that they'd replaced the theme-song vocalists with epic fails as well? X3 (no offense to anyone who likes the new voice actors... (lol?))

One thing I did not know until recently: Ash's voice actor is/was an old lady... o.O

I think in the middle of the 3rd generation (I don't remember which season) 4Kids lost the rights to the dub and it was given to the Pokemon Company. Thus why the voice actors changed.

I agree with this whole japense engilish thing, I know they remade it for kids but changing something thats ment to be the ages for 14+ to everyone seems..kinda wrong I just can't outright stand eingilsh voices in anime thanks to that! or j-pop for that matter I mean turning something really funny to something retarded doesn't suit me. for example something like This. (chocoloves jojes from shaman king respectivley just for a warning, his jokes are funny on how they sound similar to other things)

Depends what you mean by "old." His original voice actor (actress?) is currently 32 years old, and considering how far back the series runs, she would've had to have been in her early 20's when she first started. His current voice actor (season 9 - present) is a 23 year old. I felt bad for Taylor when she got the boot from voice acting for Ash, she did a great job for like.. a decade and then rocked up in the studio one day with zero warning from the manager, like: "no moar Ketchum for j00!" (same for everyone else.. Now James doesn't sound funny anymore and Brock sounds like a super-pedo!) xP

Old women doing voice acting isn't uncommon, btw! Hell, I thought Konata from Lucky Star had a cute voice (I still do!) and then I found out her voice was actually a 55 year old woman. XD

Edit: wow, I thought gatomon had a cute voice as well, just found out her voice actress is 57. </3

She's that young? I swore she had to have been at least 50 from how she looked in the picture on Wiki... o.O Really can't judge a book by it's cover.

Finally getting back to finishing my newest team in platinum, thier EV training was halted due to...B&W hehe... And now I am getting even MORE idea's for teams and sooo little time in which to train them!

Maybe I really should just start from pokemon #001 and go from there...lol.

Okay, what with the new names revealed on Serebii, I'm just going to call that all the names on the leaked list earlier this month are real. And until I'm proven wrong, I'll be calling them by those leaked names.

Crap, I cant even pronounce HALF of those names...and the other half dont make much more sense...I know I'll eventually get use to them but atm...ouch!

They don't seem all that hard to pronounce.. Unless they all end up the same as Milotic... I'll never forget my reaction when I first heard the PBR announcer say that name. "who's th-..he-..wtf??" xD
