This Alabaster mount goes really well with my "Hunter of Light" mog...the white with the subtle-yet-noticeable glowing gold aspects look really nice..

Lupen gratz on that Parrot.. it is stunning!!!

Got a mission mount and FINALLY got my class mounts

Not really an accomplishment per se since it's from the store, but I really like the two alabaster mounts. Showing off the wyvern since nobody's done so yet. I love it in particular because, to me, it's worlds above the fugly 'grand' wyvern model, which I absolutely despise. If the original wyverns ever get a facelift in the future, it should be similar to this, though I'm sad this guy lacks the adorable pawpads that the original wyvern models have.

The alabaster mounts look great! I bought a physical copy so will wait till Oct I guess!

In the meantime I got this dude from Mechagon Island - not sure how rare he is but I love my new spider

I'm so happy to finally be completely done with the Throne of Thunder! The final time I'll be heading back in there will be to tame Horridon on somebody, as I owe him that much for finally dropping the dadgum mount, hehe. And there goes what's left of my mount luck for the rest of my life, as this was Sypha's first time running this instance. @_@ Go, my little Kul Tiran, go! ♥

Hubby grinded enough bones for me to get my white raptor mount

Absolutely ecstatic right now!!! I ran Kara on a whim because I was flying by the area, and Midnight's mount actually dropped!!! I've wanted this mount for so long, I can't believe that just happened!

That is one lovely mount! I ran return to karazhan today and got no Loot at all. .think Im doing it wrong. .

You don't always get loot on Mythic unfortunately. You'll always get gold but not guaranteed an epic or fel item.

RNG gods have been so kind to me!

I can't believe it, but my days of grinding Island Expeditions are over. Finally, after HUNDREDS and hundreds of attempts, the Island Thunderscale dropped and it's the only mount I wanted.

Apart from maybe Aeonax, I can’t remember a mount that eluded you so much + you wanted so much equally.

Aww, thank you! ;u; It's probably the most fulfilled I've felt in a long time after getting a mount. The biggest white whale left for me is the Sha of Anger one, but that's a slow marathon that I'm not anticipating getting any time soon.

So the mount from Thrones of the four winds dropped! yay another drake! One less raid to do now!




Now I will go back to farming the other Wind drake mount. I have 5 alts doing it atm so I hope it'll drop soon too!

Still no luck with the remaining Pandaria world boss mounts, so I decided to kill Onyxia on my own for gits and shiggles since my boyfriend's currently obsessed with Classic.

On the one hand, I'm super excited to finally have this drop dead gorgeous mount but, on the other, I feel so bad for it having dropped while my boyfriend's at work.

Dont know where i got the egg from but it hatched as a mount!

this might be a stupid question but how do you get mounts on expeditions.. no named ive seen has drop anything.. is it only on mythic?

They are extraordinarily rare chance drops. They can drop on any difficulty, but mythic has a higher chance supposedly. It's just RNG though, and awful at that. I must have ran over 1000 islands and I only ever had that one drop. It will just be part of the loot you get in the rewards screen at the end of an Island.
