Couldn't resist making one on my favorite drake mount in game so far.
They better start having these other scale/skin colours available come this last patch...I want some white drakes.

Is it just me, or does the look of this mount remind you of Toothless from HTTYD?

- I still can't believe I finally got it...

I know I haven't posted in a dog's age, but I was suffering from major burnout for the past year and only came back to WoW recently to blaze through Dragonflight's story and prepare for The War Within. That aside, holy shiznit, I can't believe this just happened! *faints*
And to think the only reason I initially went to the Vale during the Warring Clans mogu invasion was to tame Rei Lun on Lunaire, my nightborne. From seeing all the dead mogu at the entrance to Gao Lai Halls, I had a feeling somebody had just killed/tamed him, but I decided to go test my luck anyway and I'm so glad I did. I made my way to Rei Lun's room in the Hall of the Serpent and, thankfully, nobody else was there. I decided to clear the platform when I got up there and
the Zan Tian lasso dropped from the very first mogu I killed!!! O_O
I was excited, but I didn't want to leave and miss my chance at taming Rei Lun, so I parked Lunaire on his platform. I'm so glad I decided to wait (while keeping an eye out for other players) because around twenty minutes later, Rei Lun spawned and I tamed him (6:22 AM EST). Dismissed him, left the Halls, parked myself somewhere safe before refreshing myself on what exactly the lasso I'd gotten did. Cue my shock when I learned that it's the key item for the Ivory Cloud Serpent, my most wanted mount from the mogu invasion! Had to look up a video on what to do before I parked myself on the Gate of the Setting Sun, made a target macro for the serpent and... didn't have to wait too long! @_@ Cue my panic when I couldn't find it immediately, but then I saw it blazing towards me. I had my bag open, clicked the lasso, got the mount!

- Proof that I did indeed tame Rei Lun, hehe.

Obligatory 'pics or it didn't happen!' screenshot with my newly tamed Rei Lun out. I sadly don't have any screenshots of the tame itself due to him not being on camera because I'd misjudged where he spawned on the platform (that and frayed nerves, aha...) Yeah, I'd immediately hearthed back to Valdrakken after getting the mount because I hadn't had breakfast yet, hence the change of scenery.

Got my Delve beetle mount! This was one of the hardest solo'ing challenges I've done (and it doesn't even NEED to be done solo lmao)

Old mount but this comes with a story. TL;DR: did a good deed, Oondasta gave me the Cobalt Primordial Direhorn.
I've been farming all of the world drop mounts since before the MoP and Rukhmar drop buff, albeit with some breaks such as stopping in early Dragonflight and resuming last December. As of yesterday I finally got the last one I needed: Oondasta's direhorn. I only had 3 of 12 characters left to kill him this week and my hopes were low, but as a hunter main who knows the struggle I had vowed to let any BM hunter who wanted to, tame Oondasta so long as no one else was around to ruin it for both of us.
Switched over to my dracthyr evoker, Volvagia, and missed a spawn due to queueing for Crown Chemical Co. Waited for the next one semi-afk while catching up on talents a bit more properly, closed the window to see a BM hunter with no pets out. Oondasta spawned then so I had no time to say anything (was going to ask "tame or kill?" to confirm intentions) but we were the only players there, so I stood back and /cheered at them as they completed the tame. They were incredibly grateful, thanking me before hearthing away.
It was time for dinner irl at that point so I missed a further 4 spawns, but got comfy when I got back and prepared to be greeted with the usual shimmering pile.
I didn't. It was the mount.
Moral of the story: Do good deeds and you might just be rewarded for it.

I know I haven't posted here in a dog's age, but
I honestly can not believe that this really happened:

- FINALLY!!!!!
- OGHorseman'sMount.jpg (40.78 KiB) Viewed 14988 times
I have been after this pain in the arse steed for over a god damned decade.
The Headless Horseman was first implemented back in OG Burning Crusade in what, the late 2000s? I was in my mid-twenties back then and now, I am in my early forties. Nearly two decades of seeing others with this mount that I wanted so damn badly, only to be repeatedly scorned.
I'm so, so glad that it's finally over! Thanks to my amazing boyfriend, who refused to let me give up when I'd lost all hope, I can finally look forward to Hallow's End instead of dreading it. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I couldn't be more relieved.
Back at the beginning of the month, my boyfriend told me about the Hallowed version of the upgraded mount that had been implemented this year and I was hesitant, but I went to the trading post and bought it since it's perfect for the Zandalari paladin I'm leveling in Legion Remix. He also talked me into trying for the original mount again, though I was hesitant since I'd learned about the Ghoulish version of the upgraded mount also being a drop limited to the first character who did the fight each day during the event. The same ol' song and dance kept happening until yesterday, when the original mount
finally dropped and my boyfriend got the upgraded mount. Due to both shock and physical pain (I am a woman, I'll leave it at that), I forgot to take a screenshot of getting the reins. I admit that I also wanted the Ghoulish version of the upgraded mount, but I didn't mind if it didn't happen this year.
Then, after the daily reset today, this happened:

- I have to be dreaming
- NewHorseman'sMount.jpg (105.15 KiB) Viewed 14988 times
I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ALSO HAPPENED!!!
My boyfriend has yet to get the OG mount and I promised him I'd suffer through the boss fight with him every year from here on out until he does, no matter how long it takes, because he wouldn't let me give up on the one mount I've wanted for
so god damned long. My mount luck for the rest of my life has been spent, but I'm just happy that this is finally, finally over! This is the best Hallow's End and Halloween of my entire life and I hope everyone, if you celebrate it, is having an awesome Halloween~

While not a mount per se, it IS a mount cosmetic that I am excited to finally have checked off my list as of a few days ago!
Nexus Princess Ky'veza hardmode cleared! This was, in my opinion, the hardest of the 3 Delve Nemesis bosses! You have to pretty much be on your game right from the moment you pull her!
With this, I am 3 for 3 on Delve bosses!
I am scared of what is to come with Midnight XD

I am now 4/4 on Delve Nemesis bosses! Nullaeus, honestly, was the easiest of the bunch. Only real point of difficulty was that his melee swings hit like a train.
Cleared as an ilvl 259 Pack Leader BM hunter! Valeera is lvl 40 and equipped with the Porcelain Blade Tip and Overflowing Voidspire.
