AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I cant believe they are here they look so good! I MUST get that black one. Do we have any word on the similar models found in wod? Don't forget to check the Raven lord and his lookalikes. also what family are they in?

Green hydras in Gorgrond are still not tamable; haven't gotten to those in other zones like Nagrand. So I guess not everything has gone through a taming pass.

They look so gorgeous Are they all carrion birds? If so, I'm very happy that family is getting cool new models too, since Prey are getting axebeaks and kaliri.

This should mean that a lot of the stuff that was flagged as untameable on our lists should now be available. And if it isn't then it's probably not meant to be (though it could always have been missed by accident). This only applies to stuff that was already on our lists before a few days ago, not the stuff that was missing and not the newest Gorgrond stuff.

As for Ji-Kun etc. there were several birds in that encounter, and they came in different colours, too. I'll open a new list on our untameables and bugs thread for beasts from older expansions that aren't tameable but perhaps could be. Anything that shares a model with tameable creatures, that is. A bunch of open world Timeless Isle beasts could go into it as well. Probably not as important as catching stuff in the new expansion, though

Talbuks in Nagrand all seem to be tamable. Glad to finally be able to tame one, aside from the purple SMV ones.


Edit: Hmm, is this new? As in, from today's build? He was using one of the WOTLK skins when I did the stable quests.

Even the black Shadowmoon Stalker wolves are finally tameable. They've been taunting me for months. I think this is definitely the build with the big taming pass.

Edit: appears some Rylaks are still classified as Chimaeras (Driftwatcher Rylak for one)

Probably safe to say Blaithe isnt either.

The blue hydras in Gorgrond are not tamable... Has anyone found any that are?

Edit: Riplash is tamable, the blue raptor in Gorgrond that's part of the Stables quest. Only blue raptor in-game at the moment, right? Or were more added recently?

Ok, well as much as I'm not a huge personal fan of the grounded Rylaks, that white one is STUNNING! O.o

Oh awesome I just hope the reptilian rylak & the black rylak are added and made tamable one day.

Also, found a tamable red hydra. On the coast east of Everbloom Wilds in Gorgrond; Typhon Broodmother. The scouts around the area are not tamable, however.



Just need to find a blue tamable hydra now; all other colors have been found.

BTW, I haven't seen any tameable dread ravens. We expected that was going to be the case anyway, but worth noting that they haven't changed their minds on that one

Can always hope that becomes an Arakkoa-linked tame thing in the future.

I checked some pythons but no luck either, and the pit beast is still classed as humanoid.
