Lynxes may be a while
I've been a bit distracted by the beta. Since it's getting to the end I've been frantically trying to catch anything else I wanted to report to Noah. I'm not even sure if it's too late now. And even if it isn't, whether he even has time to look at / fix the lists of stuff I suggest at this point I don't know. He's probably cursing the day he ever said hello to me

They look rabid. And toothless. I feel as if I'm going to get gummed to death.

Amazingly, I think the troll cubs are the ones that overall work the best for me (the tauren ones have adorable eyes, but still have the spot thing like the night elves do).
*coos at all of them anyway because omgbabydruids*

Here's some eagle re-colors, including different shades of red:

I'm not sure if Wain found this out already, because this thread is quite old already. I haven't seen it mentioned yet, though, but I may have just missed it.
This is in response to the 'night elf' ear thing on the storm crow models.
In WMV, the storm crow model: stormcrow.m2 (not stormcrowdruid or stormcrowq) has ears that can be removed because they are actually a separate geoset. Unlike with some geosets that can be removed, it doesn't leave a huge gap. Seems like it was created with the full model, and then the ears were added on. Blizzard can literally remove it too.
This means that the previous stormcrow textureswaps would work just right, without ears. This would mean that they don't have scary elven ears, and the textures of some don't 'whack up'.
Here:
See? No holes!

Thanks Q

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned that or not, though I was aware of it. I actually made a case for them hiding the ears on the wild model, but apparently they felt it gives them character or something. Maybe in a creepy "did a Vulcan mate with that bird's mother?" kind of way.

No problem. Shame it was just a tad (quite a tad) too late. I hope they actually use your stuff as an example, as it looks really cool. I'd give a lung for most of those. Well -- not literally.
And yeah. Those ears add a 'nightmare fuel' factor. OvO
