I just lost Deth.... Was taming had 1 second left on the tame and it used a 1hit strike on me, had a druid brez me but it had aggro'd on the pally who was with us... and by the time i was rez'd it was dead ><

@Sib: That was basically my case, when 4 alliance hunters, 2 horde (they didnt bother us) and a friend on a rogue were all trying for Deth. I'm pretty much friends with every hunter on the server, so all I have to do is make a horde toon, and explain. The two druids kept killing us, and they SOMEHOW got deth tagged for them. Kited him around, and when a friend tried to tame, they killed him with .1 second tame left. Then they killed Deth. I was mortified, and I think I still have the picture of when he was killed somewhere on my photobucket. In the meanwhile, I got Kirix in exchange. Deth was up last night, but another hunter got him. (He was one of the 4 alliance hunters) He said all he had was Deth, and he tried Kirix. I explained how to tame, and he will probably get Kirix soon.

I had less than a second left on the tame as well. I was lucky the horde players were helpfull....

I think the worst part for me... the loot on him was mine... I'll keep it in my bank as a reminder of the lovley pet who I will one day time for my own.

Some fuckchuckle was griefing other Hunters who were trying to tame Kirix. Same faction, Horde Blood-Elf Hunter kept getting other Horde Hunters killed until they all stopped trying all together. Same Hunter then tried to make the tame himself and also failed. I then started taming Kirix myself and then he shot it off of me, I feigned death and waited til Kirix was out of the Hunter's range (We were on Separate rocks) and proceeded to tame Kirix. Started taming, waited til he cast the poison shit, deterrenced and hit tame RIGHT away. I somehow got that instant tame thing to pop off. Named it KirixTWO because it's my second just to gloat at the Hunter who was griefing everyone. He spammed me and then I reported him. I like to call that JUSTICE.

But it sounds like Deth has been targeted by anyone who isnt a hunter

@Katlyne: Well, I saw Kirix up for about 80 minutes, untill he got killed by a mage Q_Q I tried to tell him he only dropped a 25g crystal, he said: Bro, he is a rare spawn, all rare spawns drop loot.
I was pissed when he said that. And he was even more pissed when he finally killed Kirix (he brought in an army I say...AN ARMY). Turns out more hunters that get the rares, the more they'll die.

Again I say, blizzard make these things raid bosses to give hunters a chance. And not be killed from under us.. i saw kirix once... he ate my face 6 times before i quit

Or just make them like Ghostcrawler....we wont have any problems there...

Lol he kicked my ass at 80.. and 81.. i was luck to find him my 1st try as i hit 85

I found him by random well farming. Obsidium and Elementium is selling for 100g a stack...

I flew over, dived straight down, NPC scan saw him and tamed him less then 5 minutes. Then hearthed to org went to twilight highlands found EVERY rare that spawns out there in less then 10 minutes x) since then ive been camping deth... still focused

Its been 11 hrs since Deth's last spawn on my server. Im watching!

It's been 5 months to my knowledge for TLPD >.< People dont bother to go out here anymore.

Deth spawned again on Argent Dawn, about 10 hours after the last attempt ... was so close but my friend who's a dk was helping... and she had too many diseases on her so kept pulling him off me as I tried to tame even though she stopped attacking ... and he used DS on her and killed himself.... again the crystal tear was mine.... I now have 2 in my collection... which I will keep forever as a memorial to the beautiful spiders who gave their lives to try to tame him.

Lucky, he's still camp'd all to hell on my server
