Huzzah for beta

Found a vanilla crab! It even makes sounds when clicked! It also has a diet.

yay! It's even my fav colour!

I found some things while eagle-eying, to add to the list. Click the name for a screenshot. Sadly, I was eagle eying, and don't really remember the locations, but I went to Kun-Lai Summit first (there's this mysterious intriguing cloud serpent), and from there over to this gloomy green-blue place with the insects.

Sadly, those new bugs are listed as Mantidtanks, which means they are likely tied to the mantid race, which means, likely no taming, unless they are a "beast" that race controls.. If they are, I'd def drop my current Silithid for one of those.

Yeah that's what's making me lean more for humanoid. There's always a possibility, though, so I figured that I'd post it here.
I'm guessing though that one of these will be that world boss in Dread Wastes.

The red one and the dark/brown one just look too cool!

My reaction in General when I saw those:

Those tanks look cool. Makes me think they are related to nerubians and co even more!

The citizens of AQ20/AQ40 are a race, too. And they can be tamed...
I see those guys being tamable. And I see my Big Bad Bug is going to be released for one of them

I have tamed that model of Silithid before and found it too large for my tastes.....still, these skins are tempting. I will now be keeping an even closer eye on future Mantid developments.

They don't look a lot like the other mantid people they showed so there's a chance maybe.... I hope they can be tamed I'm a sucker for giant powerful looking bugs.

They look amazing! I'm hoping they're bugs too, employed by the mantids in the same way that the qiraji use silithids. They look so much like silithid colossi that it would seem weird to think of them as anything but beasts.

Sp I just looked at the model in WoWheads model viewer... its wings are on the back of it's head. <_<

I squee'd when I saw the Mantid Tank models, and I certainly do hope they're tamable. They're a likely candidate and the silithid family hasn't gotten any update love for a long time (in terms of model quality), so it would certainly be a lovely addition.

It certainly also reminded me of Starship Troopers, the brown skin that is.

In fact, I don't care if it'd be a rare spawn pet, I'd camp day through day if it was the way to get one as a pet, I know Qatir (my blue Silithid Colossus) would love his repolishing.

Of course there are more families that deserve love in the form of model quality, but now they're at it, it'd be a welcome new pet.

I know I'll certainly be holding my breath in hope.

(It's also a chance to add a model for Mantaxx, the preceding form of mantids in WoW, which preceded the current Mantids: http://www.wowwiki.com/Mantaxx, if this is -indeed- a true implication that the Mantid race may have more bestial castes among them, which seems rather logical. )

Personly i think its likely that one or two will be tameable.

The first thing I thought when I saw them is that they'll be tameable. Mists of Pandaria-style "Silithids".

The silithid colossi are listed as silithidtank in the model viewer so I think there is a very strong chance these will be tameable

Well we can only wait and see. I mean yeah they may look the same as tameable ones but they could be like the spiderkings or what not :s
