Well I'm happy for the folks who've been yearning for hydras, but the one thing I'd been hoping for news on was more hoofed mammals (i.e. STAGS, giraffes, zebras, talbuks... did I mention STAGS??) I thought maybe the goats in MoP would set a precedent but alas, still no love for the grazers, and I haven't seen as much demand for them after they remained untameable in Cata and MoP despite player interest.

Also I know I'm crazy but I prefer the old, clunky cat, wolf, and boar models.

My excitement has morphed into pure, concentrated euphoria! I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!

I'm going to tame you ... and you ... and you ... and you ... and you ...


... and I'm sure Blizzard will supply more mobs for these skins like they did to other rare beasts (Chimaeron could be the exception but I hope they add at least one more copy that'd be easier to access/tame). It would be unnecessarily cruel to have every hunter camp for the only red and purple hydra (for those of us that don't have access to Vorsha the Lasher) in game.

Don't give up hope yet. They've added at least three or four families per expac so...

I think I'm more concerned at what they will be then anything else @.@

Rams too! My Dwarf huntress needs her ram! I've been pining for one for quite a while now. They need some major work in the pixel department but I'll take 'em however I can get 'em.

Goats, rams, talbuks and antelopes all belong in the caprids and could easily be grouped as one family. Not only do they form a genetic group but they would all pretty much attack the same way.

So those at least could be added very easily without the need for a new family. And talbuks would be in theme with the xpac.

The family could be renamed from Goats to Caprids. But if not then they could be named Bucks or Buttheads or something.

I agree with this. I'm happy for the people that wanted Hydras and I might get one but these are the beasts I actually care about. *pokes sig* If we don't get at least one of them in WoD I'm gonna be sad I keep tweeting various Blizz people about it but they never seem to respond.

Can't believe they finally made it, who knows which families will be next?
Crossing fingers for a bigger goat family and giant frogs.

giant frogs? yes please! that new model they made for timeless isle is awesome in every way. though if they did add those, i'd like some smooth skinned version as well.

Ok, I've got to admit that up until 15min ago, I was rather /meh on wether hydras will be tameable or not. But now I'm all

If there are no new models (which I doubt)
you are going with my main, the bronze huntress dwarfette (if they use you, my dear pretty skin)
and you, mister Aku'mai, are going with my new horde gal, the frostwolf orc huntress
Other hunters of mine will get their hydras as well. There's enough for everyone. Hydras, hydras everywhere~!!

Just saw the great news on MMO this morning. (I know I am behind in the excitement.) All I have to say is

OMG!..............................OO....there coming! I been wanting hydras for soooooooo long. I think I have had this sig for 3 years now. Though I have wanted hydras sens I have started playing back in BC. Oh sooooo happy.
