A black fox? Haven't tried a black fox before! Hopped to Redridge and finally managed to find one.



They're pretty! Fiddled around with him and tried a dungeon. Sethekk Halls! The only problem is that he kept running off into other groups across the other side of the room. Darn critters! Not too fussed about his damage; I tend to bring along whichever pet's the 'prettiest'.

Quite enjoyed the model, but wasn't too sure about the colouration. It's nice, but doesn't quite match my character! Not too sure about the eyecolour, either. Ran off to Loch Modan and checked the other fox colours there. Ashtail! Sneakily compared the two, but... Think I'll stick with the black! Found him a tad more striking and characteristic. (Though I'll admit to yoinking Ashtail too, shhh.)



Think I'll keep him until this alt's stable becomes a little too overcrowded. The dance is too adorable!

Wouldn't mind another go, if that's alright!

Report on a tan fox!
Went off to Western Plaguelands to tame one. Had to do a bit of hunting around to find one, but I managed it.
First thing I noticed is what I've been seeing in a lot of Foxes - he just seemed drab. A dull, dusty grey that didn't share the gorgeous glow that, say, a yellow hyena has. I liked his sooty little paws, though his eyes sort of freaked me out. His colors just seemed this *tiny* bit off. That, and he was awfully small compared to my taureness, though with that race it's hard to find something at all large. xD

Named him Kitsune, as was suggested via the guild, and ran off to do some quests. He was a great little dps pet, though he had a bit of trouble with aggro. I learned that he can dance while he fights and amused myself with that for a bit. Even in the pretty light of Tanaris, though, he looked drab and out of place. Just didn't fit.

I think I'll be letting Kitsune go off to fight scarabs and become the NEW Desert Fox. The badarse one that kills you.

Not to say I don't like foxes overall - the black and grey skins are beautiful. My new hunter alt has two pets overall, a brown bear (who I've learned to love!) and a pretty Ashtail fox. Love them both to death. Ashtail seems much shinier and more striking than the tan guy.

I might add that one of my favorite pets out there color wise is that weird Olive Mine Spider. O.o LOVE the bright browns and tans.

Part of me wants the pretty purple spider, but I'm arachnophobic so I know I'd never be able to use it. >_<

I love spiders in-game. I just really dislike their petemotes. :-/ Don't know why... Same with crabs.
But really. Look at these colors! Doesn't it looks shiny? It has pretty red highlights, and green, and dark, and shine...

If Tain's a Hordie, then I imagine that being assigned a skin that doesn't require a boat trip with a bunch of 85 guards of the wrong faction would be nice.

True, after doing so many of these I didn't read the description for her fox tame so I didn't know she was a hordie.

Perhaps, if you're doing this for a lowbie, you could state which faction you are? A lot of the low level challenges are hard to roll for because of this. I'll offer a second pet for Lupis.

I've done more than one Lowbie Run of Doom, so this'll be a fun challenge for when I wake up in the morning.

Why does everyone think my name is "acheronITA" and not "TIA" I told a friend of mine and she said it sounds like Anita, an old woman, and we decided that then all my pets would have names like Doris, Ethel and Agatha

Sorry, my brain keeps reading it as ITA; I never noticed it was TIA until you pointed it out.
I will update my post accordingly because I'd feel bad if I didn't.
