Meet Misery, my newest addition to the Creature Clan!
I thought, "Maybe just one more time to fly to the spawn points before I call it a night, I've been at it for about 12 hours today and yesterday." Well, wouldn't we know it! Caught the boy just north of the Ruins of Rognann, a blaze of horns and Illidan screaming, "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!!!!11!1!" did not help my nerves. But I got him, my Misery (for the amount of camping I've done for him). I'm so proud, and as an extra I caught King Krush earlier on today at about 2:30PM MST. Two rares in one day, can this get any better? I'm still shaking.

So, in that case: Time Lost Proto-Drake, Time Lost Proto-Drake, Time Lost Proto-Drake....

I may as well give this a shot..as I just turned 84 I'm after any color of Madexx..Come on Madexx you can spawn in any color and I will love you and keep you forever.

Also Terrorpene you have gotten away from me for three days now I know one day you will be my firey turtle..but please let it be soon..<3

OH MY GOD!!! You guys I got Madexx just now!!! ...I just posted this 10mins ago!!...a pic will come,I got the blue one!!!

You know what... I started this thread and it gave me Karoma within two hours.

Every since then I have been looking for Madexx, and I have been missing him here and there by 1min-15min... and then today BAM! I was flying over his spawn points and NPC_Scan went off... I flipped around and headed to the ground to start the tame... as soon as I hit the ground he went from being unclaimed to claimed....

A rogue that was in the area doing the scorpion quest had tagged him and was proceeding to slaughter him... I said, "No" to the rogue which he replied back with "Yes", and then I said, "500g" and Madexx's health kept going down... so with about 20% health left I said, "1000g". A few seconds later Madexx was dead.

The rogue was kind enough to inform me that it didn't drop anything except a vendor item (DUH!). When I asked him why didn't he let me tame it for 1000g he said he thought it dropped the scorpion mount or a blue item.... after I told him I wanted to TAME it he apologized and gave me the Tear of Loyalty that it dropped... I then told him to let his guild members know that some Cataclysm rares DO NOT DROP GEAR/MOUNTS.

What sucks the most about this entire thing is I can't even say anything in General Chat in Uldum about what it drops or that I am even looking for it because the trolls come out of the woodwork informing me that they have killed it a total of 27 times in the last 3 days, or they start rumors that it drops a mount. I am unsure how to let people know that it doesn't drop items and I am interested in taming it without making other people want to kill it out of spite.

I have only seen it spawn around 23-24hrs after it was tamed/killed, but I am sure it spawns sometimes between there somewhere...

I am never going to get Madexx...

Oh... and it was green too... which is one of my top two choices (blue being the other).

Aww that's sad I feel for you..I had that happen to me with Skoll, I see him spawn only to witness two alli hunters killing him and trying to talk to me, I don't know what they were saying I logged out I was kind of mad (I had been looking for Skoll for almost three weeks at that point and seen him spawn and being taken away too much).

The good news is he spawned again a few days later I was alone and I got him.
So don't despair you will get Madexx:) he will find you, like Skoll eventually found his way to me

Look, sweetie, I know you're having a lot of fun stomping around and ruining the fun for a lot of use night elves. I get it, we're kind of an uptight punch; getting our collective panties in a twist can be a good time. But here's the thing: I want you anyway.

Had to edit out this whole box as I typed my heart out for Madexx to spawn, which as I was about to hit submit NPCscan blew up and made me tab back in to see him right below me.

I'd keep checking around the 12hr mark too, Pent--mine was about 11hr since helping a friend tame the black. I didn't see anything around the 6hr mark, but it's hard to tell for sure with as busy as these zones can get.

He really seems to like 2-4AM on Feathermoon. I'm gonna try one more night to see.

Has anyone from Cenarion Circle seen Madexx lately? My pleading went unnoticed it seems. *continues staring sadly at empty desert*

I've been camping you diligently for over 30 hours now, I understand you spawned during the brief 30 minutes I had to switch to my main to slay a dragon with my guild, and I know I got spoiled while you got tamed with a BiS BoE sword, but please, I came right back and you won't come back! Please spawn, my hunter has neglected heroics for you for days now....please? We can solo the world together if you'd just...spawn.

Red Madexx this time... Shaman decided he needed it more than a hunter.

I blame Blizzard and MMO-Champion for "pointing" out the scorpion is a rare beast... but failed to inform people that it doesn't drop anything other than the Tear.

This sucks...

Dear Karoma and Sambas, where are you guys? Please stop spawning in front of those damn druids who only want to kill you guys to make me go crazy. I know you guys must be tired of dying by now. I've seen both of you killed by those evil alliance druids a few times now. Stop being reborn, just to be killed again. You guys can roam the world freely with me. I'll feed you, pet you, and keep you warm! So come on and stop dying! Especially you Karoma! You're already dead and only a spirit now. How much more times do you want to die while you are already in your afterlife?

Lol! Okay but seriously... is it me, or does it seem like other classes are looking for these guys more than hunters are? Once in a while I'll see other hunters camping for them, which is fine... but more times than not, I see a group of 3 or 4 druids constantly sitting at the spawn points of these guys... wtf is up with that? Seen Karoma killed twice, and once dead. Seen Sambas killed once and dead once... All 3 times, they were killed by a group of alliance druids.

i need some luck so here goes nothing...
