I think he still is a rare spawn and the other bugs in the area are changing.

Just got my blue today

Uhh blue madexx is still a rare spawn though I have yet to see him pop in that color on the PTR but eh.

Its only the brown thats the common color on other regular scorpions who arent where he is.

Finally! I got my red Madexx! Was flying down from the north-western spawn point, thinking that it was my last pass through before I went and leveled my inscription, and there he spawned. :3

I was in such a hurry to tame him, that I forgot where my tame button was, and to take a screenie before I tamed.

Nice! Here's to hoping I spot him tonight...been out of town for a couple nights since the last sighting, so I'm hoping the timer didn't fluctuate too badly. @_@

See. See? I am glad I am not the only one. 'Oh just this black one and I'll be happy...' Several weeks later and a few thousand laps around the wastes...

I still just want my blue one, havn't heard of or seen a single spawn in over a week though.

A full rundown of my Madexx adventures will come in time, but for now, I'm just going to poke this thread with a bit of semi-venting.

For the past couple of nights, a troll hunter has been camping with me...and trying to make it quite literal as he follows me around, sits where I'm sitting, at one point even following me when I swoop down on a herb. Tonight I settle in to camp, and he's there of course, and so is yet another hunter--but this one, Alliance. I strike up a conversation with him and after a few moments he surprises me by offering to let me have the blue if he sees it, and I offer to tag n' trap for him if I see a not-blue.

The minutes tick past, and the troll hunter doesn't just try to follow me, but the other hunter as well! I keep shifting to another spawn point when he sits on me, and we both start flying in tiny circles when he tries to follow us. Suddenly, I come upon Madexx! ...In brown. I'm disappointed, but put a brave face on it and drop down to put him on ice with a tag, whispering the other hunter to come and get him. I notice someone shoot him, and thinking it's the other hunter, I feign so that he can tame...but as the other hunter lands beside me, I realize it's the troll! To my dismay, the other hunter starts to unload into Madexx...thankfully, too late.

I was disappointed, both in the troll for snatching him, and in the other hunter for trying to kill him. I know it's first-come-first-serve but...idk, I had him tagged and trapped, and for all the troll hunter knew, I was about to start a tame. A recent development, however...as I sat in Ramkahen typing this, the troll hunter came up and /sorry'd at me.

I felt a little better, up until he made an alt to taunt me and the other hunter...

Wow, what a loser. I'm sorry Ziarre.

I've been very casually looking for green, only popping in every once in a while to look. Well, just a few minutes ago I log in and BAM! - bronze Madexx. I've had him once before so I knew I didn't want him again, so I started looking around for someone. I whispered several folks, none of whom were interested in scorpids, but finally, someone in Stormwind bit! He took the portal and came out there as fast as he could (and while he was on the way, I had a minor heart attack when a lvl 85 horde shaman dropped down just a few yards away, but thankfully mounted back up and left - thank you, random shaman!!!), and tamed himself a bronze Madexx. He seemed to be REALLY happy about the tame, he kept thanking me profusely. He also told me, "ur dope"...I think that's a compliment? And when I told him to have a good night, he told me to have a good "YEAR!". I'm glad Madexx found a good home. ^_^ Perhaps I'll look again in 5.5 hours, perhaps not. My sleep is more important. I'm not doing any camping for this guy. I figure one of these times, I'll have some luck like I did just a bit ago but it will be green Madexx waiting for me. No rush, really. I've got my widdle black emo Madexx to love and cuddle on in the meantime. =3

Just wanted to share! And to the hunter who got him (if you read this forum at all), he looks great with you, hope you like him!!!
