The druid snarled, anger running through her. "I'm tired of you hunting us down and trying to kill us! I'm tired of everyone trying to do that! Can't, for one Elune-forsaken day, people leave us be?" ((Tiger's Fury!)) She leaped at the mage, slashing with her claws, not noticing if it had much of an effect or not. ((Mangle, Rip or whatever the short term bleed is. I never remember.))

Dalinda, Stormwind

Dalinda regained her senses as the cat attacked, and ice ran through her veins. It sped up her next attacks - a ring of ice pulsed out from her body, and she prepared to freeze the cat in a block of deeply frozen ice as soon as it got affected by the ice.
The acidic vapor was spreading about the room now, without the wind to push it forward. It began to settle on anything it could.

Azunara
Stormwind City

Azunara snarled savagely. Stupid mage would not beat her again! Not if she had anything to say about it! Azunara roared, leaping forth, only to find she couldn't move. She hissed, and shifted forms. Her sudden added weight and strength shattered the ice around her, and the bear charged forward, trying to smash the undead. ((Bash.))

She felt slight tingling pain as the poison began to settle, but she tried to ignore it in her fury. ((Berserk.))

Dalinda, Stormwind

Dalinda backed away, cursing to herself. Druids! She desperately reached for the words to her spells. Failing that, she planned her next few attacks ahead so she would be able to cast them all in quick succession.

Azunara
Stormwind City

The acid began to burn, and Azunara gave a short, sharp whine of pain. She shook herself, growling, then leaped forward, slashing. ((Mangle.)) With that, she let her instincts take over, and she launched a barrage of furious swipes, desperate to kill her attacker. ((Survival Instincts.))

Dalinda, Stormwind

A barrier of ice pulsed out around Dalinda, warding off the attacks. ((Ice Barrier)) Spells burst back into her mind and she released those that she had planned. The air turned cold and her veins froze, letting her launch an ice bolt in an instant. ((Cold Snap, Icy Veins and Frost Bolt)) Several smaller shards followed instantly afterwards. ((Ice Lance))

Azunara
Stormwind City

Azunara gave a whine of pain, and fell back, dropping a seed between the floorboards and shifting her forms to her humanoid form. Plants curled up from the floor, trying to tangle Dalinda. ((Entangling Roots.)) Azunara meanwhile was hissing words in Darnassian, and the poison was cleansed, chasing it away from near her briefly. ((Cure Corruption.)) Finally, she allowed the plant's energy to be absorbed by her and she seemed a lot better, shifting back into feline form. ((Annnd...Rejuv.))

She hissed angrily, charging, slashing with her claws.

((Ah, it was my thought that acid didn't work as a poison - I don't think it is a poison actually. Although, I've got a feeling that it won't be particularly strong after rejuvination and other spells like that.))

Dalinda, Stormwind

Dalinda's ice barrier held for the last slash before falling. ((That thing lasts FOREVER in-game. O.o)) She pulsed out another ring of ice, following it up with a ice block. ((Frost nova and Deep Freeze)) She was getting tired of the druid, and she had a feeling that making a portal to get the fel OUT was a good idea at some point soon. Besides, her friends would start getting suspicious. That was why she was staying as quiet at possible.

((Oh. I had no idea. I was just deciding that killing or seriously maiming Azu was probably a bad idea, so I did what I could to stop it. >.<))

Azunara
Stormwind City

The druid snarled, too tired to shift forms at this point. She waited for the ice to melt, shuddering. Stupid cold. Occasionally, a few flowers nearby died and she gained a little bit of strength. She tensed, waiting to get enough energy to shift and move.

((S'okay, I can understand that. xD With all the healing, you can say whatever you want with the acid. Doesn't matter much to me, and I don't really want Azu to die.))

Dalinda, Stormwind

Dalinda nodded to herself. Good, it was stuck. She chanted a few words, tossing a Portal Stone into the air. It burst, and a portal appeared, leading to the Undercity. Glancing back at Azu, she summoned a water elemental and sent it to attacking the cat, then jumped through the portal. Time to flee.
The water elemental began casting simple frost bolts at the frozen cat. ((I don't know if the damage buff on Deep Frozen targets counts for Water Elementals, so I'll just say it doesn't.))

((Azu dying would make me sad. D: And if anyone asks, Kozri was...uh...sleeping. *Was too lazy to RP him. >.>*))

Shaking herself, she finally shifted, smashing free of the ice and charged the water elemental. Azunara gave a roar of fury, slashing at it. As well, poison began to seep through it as Kozri swept up from behind it, slashing with his coated daggers. "Blast it. Got away again." Azunara said, sounding disappointed. At least she scared it off. The undead had been afraid of her. Very few people had been scared before. It filled her with slight pride.

Dalinda, Undercity

Dalinda blinked a few times as she appeared in the Undercity. Good to be back. She still wanted to kill that druid, but she had other things to do - more specifically, test a few new recipes and get a few poisons to her customers. Rolling her shoulders - which cracked loudly, as usual - she headed back to her lab area, waving a greeting at Keever. Crazy idiot.

Azunara and Kozri
Stormwind City

The pair made short work of the elemental, and Azu returned to her feline form. There was a few spots where her fur had been eaten away by the acid, and she flicked her ears with a wince and a whine. Ow. That hurt a lot. Kozri sighed, and offered the druid a potion, which she drank by using her claw and swinging it up to her mouth. "You should probably rest." Kozri remarked.

((Sorry, would have jumped in to help with the combat, but I was stuck at work. =( ))

Alarial and Indigosa--Stormwind

Alarial had been watching the kitchen door with growing concern. The ruckus had died down and she hoped Azu and Kozri were okay.

Indi had watched the fight from where she sat, opting to let the druid settle her score with the mage.

((No problem, Tyger! I was just bored. >.> Blame my terrible impatience.))

Luare, Stormwind

Luare had been dozing, deciding to get rest while she still could. The roar woke her up, though, and she jumped up, tail puffed out. "Azu?" she called into the kitchen area tentatively. "Kozri? You guys okay?"

"I'm a lot better off than Azu is," Kozri said, and Azunara replied, "I'll be okay. Probably. I think the acid is gone...This won't feel good in the morning, I'll bet." She said, shaking herself.

Alarial--Stormwind

Alarial was worried for Azu. "I can heal you if you'd like," she offered to the druid.

Luare, Stormwind

Luare frowned, ears pinned back in worry. "Acid? I suggest you have Alarial heal you, acid burns are horrible."

((Damn it, missed the fight... Forums have been down for quite a while for me. :( ))

((This was pre-forum death. They've been down for a day and a half for me. It's okay, though. Dalinda is bound to show up again.))

"If you say so," Azu replied. It was still a slight burning sensation, pricks of pain when she moved. Still. She had scared the mage off. She didn't run. She had held her ground, and survived! She was extremely pleased with herself. She lived...No more running. She could fight.
