Why are people seemingly incapable of being happy when someone else gets something cool? They either have to tear it down, take it away or denigrate it somehow. Sheesh.
And freaking algae in my planted tank. Go away.

Oh I know how that feels. XD Do you have to sleep sitting upright? I allways had too. Was a pain.

One more month and it'll have been a year since my Poppy went missing. I let her out one evening, same as normal, and I never saw her again. I've endlessly searched both the local area and even online to find her, to see if anyone might have found her. But I've found nothing yet. Ever since she went missing, I've heard so many 'miracle' stories about cats or dogs that come home or are found after years of being missing. I want this miracle event to happen to me. I want nothing more in the whole world than to hold her in my arms again, or even to simply know that she's alright.
We all miss you, darling. Ruby even sits on the windowsill now to look for you everyday. She used to come out with me and sit by me when I shouted and shouted for you. And Blossom misses your warm cuddles you used to give her, where you would both sit all curled up on my bed together. Nothing is the same without you. Please come home.

Fire ant queens keep coming in the house looking for new nest sites. One even tried to hide in my laptop. Trying real hard not to be paranoid.

Just had a VERY heated discussion with some of the worlds "finest" male specimens on a different forum/article. The topic? Abused women.. apparently(this is all serious too) most of todays men(that were surveyed or commented) feel that they as men can only take so much and have a right to lash out at a woman. I should also mention that one 16 year old posted "Well its like Chris Brown and Rhianna she wouldnt have gotten beat if she didnt deserve it." I feel for the world because if were bringing teenagers like that into it were doomed.

I haven't been able to sleep well lately. I don't know just how little sleep I've been getting, but I do know that if I have been falling asleep, I just don't feel like I have been. Even while asleep, I feel awake.
I'm not sure if it's just that the weather's getting warmer and they haven't kicked the AC on in the complex yet, or if the bed I'm in just isn't my comfort level, or if I have some kind of "I recently moved, am temporarily jobless, and suddenly more independent" jitters.
I hope it's not just that my mind's been too busy to let me sleep, because it's usually the "images going at a mile a minute" that get me into the sleeping zone. Especially if I think about characters going to sleep...
I tried taking some Nyquil one night to make me sleep... it worked, but as soon as it wore off 5 hours later, I was wide awake again. Blah!

It's been ruining my daytime motivation, that's for sure.
