Magna - Redridge/Burning Steppes Border

Arbennig whimpered and started to shy away from the Burning Steppes.

"....You ok?"

Arbennig whined.

((Willowe's on auto pilot so you probably won't be seeing many posts from her while I'm gone. Just assume she's there with the group.))

Indigosa--Elwynn

She looked down, watching Zaruuk leave, hoping he was telling the truth. If he didn't return in a few minutes, she would continue without him.

Myriana and Swift - Redridge/ Burning Steppes

Myriana looked back at Arbenning as the corehound whined. "I really can't blame him. Did you not say you had to retrieve him from Blackrock Mountain? We will have to go through the Mountain in order to get to Searing Gorge," she told the orc. "Then from Searing Gorge, there is a tunnel that will lead us to Loch Modan. The faster we move the better." The hunter picked up the pace a bit.

Kozri
Burning Steppes

Kozri moved to try and take the lead, letting a determined expression cross his face. He didn't get his daggers ready. Instead, he scanned the skies, watching them carefully. He tried not to look that nervous. It'd probably scare the rest.

Azunara
Elwynn

Azunara looked up from her vine, and pricked her ears. She smelled death, and a faint smell of that Dragon. She snarled slightly, bristling. She could hear combat, and nodded at Tirrae, "I'm going to check it out." She followed the scent, and leaped to where Faron and Decay were fighting. She focused, calling up roots from the ground, and lashed them at Decay, trying to trip her up.

Myriana and Swift - Burning Steppes

Myri slowed down and gladly let Kozri take the lead. She stopped completely to let the others pass, figuring it was a good idea to have someone watch the rear. "Keep an eye out Swift. You never know what we'll come across here. " The fox was instantly on the alert, listening for any kind of warning that danger was coming.

Decay - Elwynn

Decay hit the ground with a swear. She quickly rolled around, lashing after Azunara instead.

Azunara
Elwynn

Azunara bared her teeth, wincing as she took the slash and leaped forth, trying to bite down on Decay's arm. She also tried to make the vine she summoned take the other arm, but she didn't have decent control, so there was a fair chance it would miss by quite a bit.

((Figures. I have to go for a few hours.))

Decay - Elwynn

Decay blinked in confusion as a wine burst up next to her head. She managed to barely avoid getting pulled down by it by swinging around to get her other arm around the druid's back. Okay, Azu could NOT do that thing before. Odd. With a leap she got over to the druid's other side, trying to pull her bitten arm back, failing as the druid still bit down to it. With a grin she reached for a grip around her head with the other arm and pulled around with all the strength she could muster to try and snap the druid's neck. If she let go her move would fail quite miserably, but hopefully the druid wouldn't expect it.

Gazz'nil and pets- burning steppes

Sabatoth walked up to arbenniq, the raptor stood close to the corehound giving him the expression 'dont worry'
Gazz'nil scowled "Well that bread was good, a bit too good I had to get water so I walked away so get a drink of water and suddenly everyone was gone"

Glix and Karzix - Burning Steppes

"Well, tell us next time before taking off without a word." Glix stated matter-of-factly to the other goblin before following Myri and Kozri. "Then we'll know to at least slow down."
Karzix glanced back at the peaceful, lush mountains of Redridge. He then looked forward at the dark, ashy and hot path ahead of them. He let out a weary sigh and started forward, ears pricking up to keep an ear out for any of the dangers Myri and Kozri had mentioned.

Zaruuk - Elwynn Forest

The mage carefully pushed past a bush, the sounds of combat getting closer. Cautiously, he cloaked himself in an invisibility spell before rushing forward. The sight he saw almost made him loose his concentration and drop his spell almost instantly. Decay was here? Fighting Faron and some sort of elemental cat? Wait... was that Azunara?!
He struggled, unsure whether to stay and help Decay fend against the cultists or to run back and fetch Indi.
He stretched out a hand and fired a few arcane bolts towards Faron.
"Come and get me you overgrown spark plug!" He taunted the wolf and his pet troll, blinking away towards where Indi hid. He hopef the wolf would take the bait, leaving Decay with only one thing to worry about.

Blackrock Scout - Burning Steppes

Jhara sighed, bored despite herself. She normally enjoyed the solitude of scouting duty, hell any chance to get away from the foul-tempered commander was welcome, but today she wanted something to do. Something to happen.
A sudden growl from the large worg besise her jolted the scout to reality. She turned and fell to the ground, pulling out a spyglass. A small group seemed to be wandering in, composed of alliance scum and members of the false horde. Well, this was certainly interesting. She sent the wolf running back to the main encampment to rouse the raiders. Looks like she might have her fun after all

Korwen - Burning Steppes

"So ye' fin'ly seen 'em?", the human asked the orc beside him, taking another sip from his bottle.

Magna- Burning Steppes

Magna began to pet the beast, "You'll be fine big guy...I won't let any dragons take you away again...I'm sure none of our friends here will either."

Arbennig gulped and slowly began walking into the Steppes.

The World Destroyer slipped unnoticingly into Karzix's bag.

Blackrock Scout - Burning Steppes

"And I suppose you kept silent hoping you could avoid a fight then, human?" The scout sneered back in return. She was still unsure why the commander had assigned her to stick with the foul pinkskin.

Korwen - Burning Steppes

The rogue didn't respond, rather, he once again looked though his binoculars. He'd never gotten' competent orcs. Trolls, on the other hand, much better.

Karzix and Glix - Burning Steppes

Karzix shifted his pack to his other shoulder. Odd. Why did it suddenly seem heavier? He shrugged to himself, dismissing it as him being unused to the weight of new supplies.
Glix watched the landscape, tense. She sure hoped that Magna was right.

Myriana and Swift - Burning Steppes

Myri kept an eye out at the back of the group, listening for anything that might forewarn danger. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as soon as they crossed the border but the draenei couldn't tell if it was the atmosphere of the place or if they were actually being watched. Swift trotted beside her, occasionally looking behind them to see if he could spot anything. The fox let out a low growl of frustration, finally understanding why his person didn't like this place.

Magna - Burning Steppes

Arbennig sniffed around. He was sniffing for Black dragons more than anything.

Magna got his bow ready just in case.

Faron, Tirrae and Batlek, Cultist Camp

Faron staggered back and snarled, hearing the draenei coming before he saw him. The hum of the arcane bolts caused him to leap to the side, slowed by pain and only managing to dodge a few. The others bit into his hide and he shook his head, having Vallrok shoot the flame trap ((Immolation trap)) towards the Draenei, then quickly fade into the background, the wolf mimicking. ((Camouflage)) Faron began slinking around to try and get behind the mage.

Tirrae followed. She wasn't going to let her Druid get hurt. Seeing Decay, she shrieked and lashed her tail, a large, sharp rock jutting up to try and stab the death knight in the stomach. She then lashed out her claws to slow time for the Death Knight.

The ritual was slowing down as each beast was drained. Batlek was momentarily enshrouded with shadow.

Blackrock Commander - Burning Steppes

Vexrok Torneye grumbled under his breath, irritated. This was not a rare occourance for the grey-green skinned orc, but today marked him in a particuarly bad mood. Nobody liked to say it, but their clan was quickly becoming obsolete. Once they had ridden on black wings, striking terror into the hearts of the pinkskins and the false Horde. Now that right was reserved for babbling madmen under a twilight banner. The humans and dwarves were also stepping up their offensives. The clan was slowly loosing the war, and he didn't like it one bit.
What happened to the glorious vision of Rend Blackhand, where Blackrock ruled this land upon wings of black and chromatic? Pah, the warchief had been a fool to trust the lizards. They should have been cowed like the reds back in the glory days.
As if reading the orc's mind an angry huff came from the Shattertooth, the black drake beside him. Vexrok smacked the young dragon across it's snout with the flat of his axe, causing the beast to yowl in pain and recoil back from his master. The commander frowned, the drake was getting too spirited for his own good. He'd have to kill it soon, lest it decide that he would make a fine snack.

"Commander!" Called a voice from below his ledge. Vexrok looked down to see an orc approaching, a worg at his heels.
"Speak." He snapped at the peon, who began to grovel at him.
"A scouting worg has returned! Enemy spotted to the east, small mixed race band, both alliance and false horde." The peon reported.
"They are fools to tresspass on Blackrock land!" Vexrok cried out, a toothy grin spreading across his face. "Assemble the raiders and raise the banners, we will crush them beneath our boots and hang their bodies on the rocks! All shall know that the Blackrock sill have teeth!"
Vexrok moved over to Shattertooth and mounted the drake. The beast let out a bellowing roar, which was echoed by at least a dozen war-horns. Then it took wing, heading to the east, a full party of Blackrock raiders following on the ground behind them.

((If you feel the urge, feel free to snag a Blackrock to help with the fight. XD ))

Zaruuk - Elwynn Forest

Zaruuk glanced behind him, he couldn't see the wolf following. Damn it! Was he just hiding, or had he stayed back? He didn't know, not that it rightly mattered he supposed. He needed to get back to Indi. He started to move again, only to screech in pain as he activated the trap. Flames licked around the draenei, burning him. He blinked out of the trap, purging the air around him with a cold gust of air, putting out most of the fire on him. Taking no chances, Zaruuk swelled arcane power around him, pulsing it out in an explosion. He then continued his sprint towards Indi, hoping he could reach her in time.
