I'd be tempted to tame him myself if it was remotely possible.

All these challenge tames we got? Pff, WEAK. I will not be impressed until someone works out the insane amount of haste and planning to drag a level 15 mob down out of mid-air and tame all within a 2-5 second time limit without killing it.

THAT'S THE HARDCORE TAMING CHALLENGE.

If I thought for an INSTANT it could be done, you better believe I'd be out in Deepholm right now camping for Blood Seeker. He would be my Alucard and it would be perfect. *single tear*

Every single time I come to this forum, I go straight to the 'your posts' section and pray that the title of this thread has changed. And if it hasn't but something new has been posted, I rush to see, just in case something awesome has happened. And when I was scrolling down and saw the top of the Blood Seeker screenshot you posted yesterday, my heart skipped a beat slightly.

I'm being serious when I say that I want you to get Aeonaxx more than I want to get TLPD for myself.

Veph I feel for you, I found out last night that someone had killed the TLPD 20 mins before I logged on

I should have logged in at my usual time but I had things to do so I didn't..I was disappointed, I still am a bit, but today is a new day!

You know how I've gotten all my rares ? Just pure luck, I'm there at the right time at the right place, as I would keep checking to see if the rare I want is up. If it's not me then it's someone else that knows I'm looking and they let me know. I could never camp for a mount. I don't know how you do it. I hope you get your mount.

I'm only ever able to properly camp for a mount when I'm a bit bored with WoW. This usually comes a few months into a patch. It means that there's going to be no urges to just go and do something else, it's how I managed to camp for Aeonaxx. Whenever I was in the house and not sleeping, the computer would be on and I would be in Deepholm. And in the meantime I would read, play other games, etc. I found it really easy. But now that I'm trying to camp for TLPD yet there's still other things I want to do, I'm finding it hard to camp properly. I'm a patient person, but easily distracted.

Periodically checking in is not a method I can do for this camp. I have atrociously bad RNG luck, randomly looking without staying put would pretty much make my chances nil. I'm fine with long camps, I'm accustomed to them (part of being a Hunter I suppose), and I want this mount more than almost any other rare thing in the game. I'm just going to stick with it until I get it.

Plus it feels so much better to grab a mount that you've been sitting and waiting for for a long time, rather than just grabbing it by luck!

For as much as I complain and whine about it, camping is probably one of my favourite things to do in the game. Archaeology is another. Must be that hunter wanderlust deep in my heart.(;

I did a few hours of camping this morning before work, and hopped on right after I was finished, so I've got a few more piled up now. Still nothing though. >.<

Just taking a shot with a theory:

You have a x2 touring rocket. Summon level 16 hunter into Deepholm and have them mount your rocket, make sure they're a goblin.

Bloodseeker spawns. Friend dismounts and shoots bloodseeker once, falls to ground.
(while friend is falling you zoom down below and lay icetrap or something)
Friend does Goblin Jump right before hitting (thus not getting killed (or potentially have another player on a priest levitate them))

You engage any mobs quickly that may be around where friend drops below. Once Bloodseeker is in range, you hit tamebeast.


Maybe perhaps??? Getting this altogether and perfecting the landing would be incredibly tricky

Hmm... Does it only stay up for 5 seconds or something? I'm not caught up to speed on Bloodseeker that much

Blood Seeker is only up for 2-5 seconds at maximum, hence why I think it's the impossible tame. You'd need a crap load of haste to pull it off, and I don't even think you could get him near the ground in time to tame it within that.
