For once Thor and I agree on something! No pvp is worth it unless its world pvp! I love raiding faction capitals (hated to raid Org when Thrall was warchief, but now its okay. we got a bonehead on the throne) and just aoeing the shiz out of everyone gives me the warm n fuzzes. I saw Solix on my shaman, called a guildie to come and tame it, but we both died a couple times so I logged on my hunter to help with concussive shot and traps. When I arrived I found TWO HORDE HUNTERS come in and started to try and tame it, BUT THEY BOTH DIED AND SOLIX RESETTED. Now, let me say that we left them alone while they were kiting it, but he RESETTED, so we felt in the right to step in (and we were there first anyway). Naturally, OUR kiting went as smoothly as a cloth on a mirror... But those two hordes couldn't leave us alone, and killed Solix a moment before my friend hit tame.

Then one of them called DETH out of his stable. DETH. He F*****G tamed DETH, but decided that if he couldn't have the way-easier-to-get Solix then no one should have it. I BET that before taming him, he purposefully killed Deth all the times he saw he was being kited by another hunter.

Those people have no shame, be it alliance or horde.

That's just poor form. :/

I wouldn't say Solix is "easier" to tame, though - just different. Deth'tilac is an endurance battle; Solix is short and sweet (and far more likely to actually kill you than Deth is, since Deth can be reset so easily.

...Well, I meant easier as in less tricky, since it's Slow-Conc-Slow-Conc-etc for Solix, while Deth is Pet Die-Slow-Conc-Ress Pet-Pet Die-Slow-Conc-etc, and WAY more likely to piss you off when someone comes and kill it in front of you, especially if you did all the work alone.

True enough, though really, seeing any pet that you've worked hard to tame die sucks. :/

Both are equally hard..I've found that Solix is a concentration challenge, and Deth is a "Oh crap dont get into melee range" challenge. If you're not good with kiting and concentration, then Solix is gonna be hard for you, and if you're not good at running away and making sure deth doesnt reset, Deth is gonna be hard...or if you're on a PVP realm, like I >_>
But I agree with both sides are griefing each other. I almost died when I saw Anthriss dead and a warrior going /lol to a horde hunter. I almost wanted to scream. (I've been waiting for Anthriss for a while. I wanna try out her challenge, seeming that it is fun) And then there was a time when two druids ganked EVERYONE that tried to kite deth. So both sides are equal, no matter where you go.

And yeah, when I saw Anthriss (I'm not picky on if the model is common or not, I am just in it for the fun of taming a pet) dead I died a little inside. First time I saw her in the wild.

Cant camp today, been up 3 days with almost no sleep and now Im drop dead sick but when i kick it ill be back in Deth's spot! *rubs charm* bring me luck!

Karkin and Kirix sat up for at least 2 hours on my server. I think these rares are getting...less so, I guess you could say. These poor guys just wanted a home! Someone help them! /sob

Starkittens was even there and no one wanted them! Its that sad on my server. People just don't care about rares anymore. And NO, my server is not low-pop. So this is odd.

Most of the rare pets don't get to even live 10 minutes when they spawn on my server. =.= Deth lasted 5 minutes of being up when he was killed yesterday by some Worg DK. ;>> The same asshat who's been killing Deth for the past month now. =.= I did get lucky to get Solix a couple weeks ago. But it was again due to me being on my dailies and happening to run into a rare. Solix was easy and that DK TRIED to kill him but was made dead instead. ^^ About the only new rare I got aside from Kirix [Who I accendently released after Deth killed him] and Ahnka. I got lucky to get Anhka though. I saw a Tauren Druid trying to kill her when she was one shotted. I swooped in naked and tamed. Man I think I had about five heart attacks that night over Anhka. xDDDD I've came across Skarr's body about 50 times now, Karkin's body has been spotted about the same amount of times. Watched a hunter kill him the other day, I myself may not be fond of Karkin, but that was still wrong on soooo many levels. x.x Earlier I was trying to get Ban and someone broke his ice shell I had him in and the other hunters were fighting over him to see who could kill/tame him first... My main won't be touched fully until I know for a fact I can at least have a nice FAIR shot at these new rares. u.u

Then I feign death so he doesn't kill me, and he rolls over dead under a bridge.
