I dunno, as far as I can tell it seems their placeholders are the spider guys, so I'm betting on humanoid. =/ They just seem to have this humanois look about them as well... I guess only time will tell.

So, this may not be the place, but with Mantids in discussion, I'm curious.
Are they somehow related to Qiraji and Nerubians, as in a third split after the Well of Eternity was destroyed, or are they their own separate race?

Theres no lore at the moment but I think they are related. They certainly look like they are.

here go to this link scroll down to the models and click the misc model tab then find the new bug.
its definately using the silithidtank skeleton. and looking at it in motion it looks much more like a beast than a humanoid.

Well that does not mean it will or wont be. Best not to assume intill it goes live I think.

Valley of the Four Winds is open now! I only beast lored one thing but it was an untameable wasp.

I saw new beasts in Northern Barrens, many Cheetahs are now prowling the area between Crossroads and Ratchet - I noticed that they aren't on the current pet list (only Dishu has this model there)
But I could't try to tame them yet.
