Aw man Jurz, you and me completely agreed on movie tastes up until Guardians of the Galaxy I think. :P I can't say I'm even going to go and watch it. I might for the racoon, it looks cute, but after the disaster that was Thor: The Dark World with Marvel trying waaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to be funny... yeah. I just can't see this ending well. Then again I know nothing about this section of Marvel and there seems to be loads of people looking forward to it so maybe I'm just wrong. xD In saying that, I didn't hate Thor: The Dark World, I quite enjoyed it for the most part actually, but oh geez the funny moments (of which there were far too many) just... weren't funny. At all. x___x; They were embarrassing...

BUT YES. GODZILLAAAAAAAAAAAA. My cinema has an AWESOME stand up for it right now, I might have to get a photo next time I'm there. :3

I probably wouldn't have spent money on it myself if I had to XD It felt more like a movie you watch on Netflix to me. It wasn't TOO bad imo. Just...an interesting watch

Amazing Spider-Man 2! God was so good. I love Spider-Man though he's my favorite superhero. Were seeing Godzilla in IMAX 3D when it comes out too. <3 Then we've got X-Men: Days of Future Past. So many of my favorite actors/actresses in that one! Then were definitely seeing HTTYD2 when it comes out in June. August is Guardians of the Galaxy. I can't wait for that either. Also seeing in 3D. AHHHH. So many movies for me!

Also my boyfriend and I got the last limited edition Spider-Man poster! It's currently by my side of the bed. <3

OMG I was so excited when we got the last one! My best friend works for the movie theater and gets me all the freebies. We saw Amazing Spider-Man 2 in IMAX 3D too! God it was cool flying around on Spider-Man's back with him. The IMAX movies are the BEST. They make 3D worth it. Btw which Spider-Man is your favorite. Normal or Amazing? Amazing is mine. I'm still not recovered from the Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborne, Max Dillon(Electro) feels. They all hurt so badly and I can empathize with all the villains, they both had horrid shit to go through. Max more though... ELECTRO FOREVER. BUT ALSO SPIDER-MAN.

Amazing Spiderman is BY FAR my favorite :) I'm also still suffering from Gwen feels T.T I knew it was coming, but...WHY!?? WHYY!!??? I cried so hard T.T I'm not sure if I can accept a Mary Jane after this movie. Him and Gwen were just. too. perfect.

Ooooh, yeah!
I watched Space Battleship: Yamoto last night.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a few lengths and does drag a TINY bit in the last half hour, and there is the ever-present maudlin sentimentality that is so much a part of Asian "grand drama". But the effects were awesome, the world building was fantastic.

I saw Neighbors. It was...funny, but not near as funny as I had hoped/expected :(

and a coworker/friend of mine and I put together THE COOLEST STANDEE EVER!!! (I'm the crazy blonde, in case anyone wants to know)

Image

I wish I could take the whole standee home, but I'm just going to take the Dinobot's head to hang on my wall :) That won't happen until sometime in August though

I went to a preview screening of Godzilla last night and I loved it!!! Yes alot of reviewers have said the human characters are abit boring (and they are to a point) but Godzilla himself is just awesome! Lots of cliché lines and moments but for a monster movie I don't care - long reign Godzilla: King of Monsters!!!
