Arkon grinned as he bounded ahead again. He would win, he knew-"ACK!" His paws shot out from under him as the heat returned to them, sending him slipping on the slush and face first into the snow. "I'mokay!"

Ivika groaned, shaking her head. She did look at the others, adding carefully, "Would any of you know of a haunter? About this big, floats this high, real cheerful?" She asked, tilting her head.

Lark paused only for a moment, slowing to make sure the Espelithe was okay. Once he shouted the affirmative, she cheered and began running again. "Catch me if you can!"

Ivika scowled, mentally saying to herself, -"Brilliant. Just...brilliant."- The leafeon waited for an answer, figuring it'd be the same as usual. No one would know a thing about her.

Summer shrugged, trying to think back. "I don't remember any. Haunters? ...Oh! Speck!" Her ears drooped a bit, and she looked awkwardly towards Ivy. "I... hope you don't mean Speck?"

Ivika paused. Oh, that was -never- a good sign. Ever. "That would be her..." She replied warily, preparing herself.

Summer paused, trying to think out how to say this. Errmmmm... She decided to just spit it out, it couldn't sound that bad. "She sacrificed herself to save a child in the Dusk wars. I'm... really sorry." Well, it could have sounded better...
Her ears and tail were drooped sadly.

Ivika nodded slowly, "I see..." The leafeon was disappointed, really. She made quick friends with the haunter, it had been sad to her go. And now the ghost was dead? Ivika looked at the flames, then added, "Guess there isn't much I can do about that, then."

Deppy gave a quick glance at ivika "I belive that spirits only stay on this world because they still have a goal to complete, maybe him dieing for a child in war finally set your ghostly friend free"

Ivika tilted her head, "She was a good traveling companion...And I suppose. She talked about her family a lo-" She paused, blinking. Wait. She glanced at all the pokemon, and then nodded. Right. So...this was them. The haunter's family. They seemed friendly enough.

Summer tilted her head at Ivy. "Her family? Probably us, I guess. Although I wasn't a part of her family at that time. If you want to meat the founders of this group, you'll want to look for Chomp. He's a feraligator." She shrugged slightly, looking around. "And if either of you happen to see a small female Eevsol running around like a mad Mew, tell me."

Ivika raised an eyebrow. Kids. Right. The leafeon nodded thankfully to Summer, then flopped down, watching everyone run around. She glanced at Deppy, really the only person she knew and had formed an albeit shaky friendship with. "What do you think of all this?" She asked, resting her head on her paws. "It's loud, but they have food...."

((Out for the night!))

"I don't mind, normally I would not want to but...." deppy's look grew hasy as if she was deep in thought "I was out hunting, I was struck byu a rampardos with a blow to the head and fell asleep and now I wake up the whole world seems to have changed different creatures plants, and strange things I don't think my packs here anymore, so I don't mind"

Arkon shook himself off before he pulled the flame back into his spine and rushed after Lark. He wouldn't fall this time! No way! "I'm so beating you!"

"Good luck with that one, fire fuzz!" Lark called back, getting quite close to the house now. She glanced behind, and the movement - to her annoyance - threw off her balance. She ended up tripping, flying forward to burry herself in the snow. "Grah! Stupid scythe!" She yowled, muffled by the snow. Irritatedly she began digging herself out.

Arkon burst out laughing as he caught up to Lark. He ran a bit ahead, then frowned and slowed down. He glanced back and tilted his head, staring for a second before he sighed. He trotted back, putting the heat back in his paws to melt some of the snow that Lark was trying to move out of the way.

Lark managed to get herself out of the snowdrift, scowling as melted snow dripped from her fur. Well, it was better than being buried. She shook out her fur, sending cold water flying, and gave Arkon a grateful smile. "Thanks." She looked ahead, towards the house, and suddenly bounded forward. "We got a race to finish though!"

Darkrai nudged Solara's shoulder. "Shall we?", he asked, motioning towards the ruins.
((That part just seemed to die... *Looks innocent* ))

((Right, right.))

Solara glanced at the ruins, nodding. She moved closer to them, glancing at the walls with the Unown carved into them. It made her kind of uneasy, this place.

Ivika blinked, "Odd." She said to Deppy, The leafeon looked thoughtful, "I don't remember much about my family. I think...my mom was a Flareon, and my dad was a Leafeon. My sister took after my mom, too." She looked at her paws, "All I remember." She shook herself, looking up once more. "I suppose if we plan on staying we should ask someone. Introduce ourselves."
