Friend hatched a male steel/black/white dragon (fae). Friend is plague...
At least we can use it for breeding a male steel/black/white LIGHTNING dragon.

My friend gets two five egg nests in a row. I have two exciting pairs breeding today, one has two reserves, so I'm feeling like hey, maybe I'll end this 2-3 egg thing!

Augh I hop on FR and I see I have a message so I slow lag my way to it and its the person responding about their WC that I want and I slow lag to it but it never loads so I refresh the page and its been probably from beginning to atm about 15min, if not longer cause I've been busy on tumblr waiting for it to load and its not loading anything.

We apologize for the disruption. We have been working hard on prepping several site optimizations so that they can be deployed to you and hopefully improve much of your browsing experience.

Unfortunately, an exploit has been brought to our attention that has diverted some time from that and will need to be addressed immediately. To do that, we will need to leave the site in maintenance mode for the duration. At this time, we do not have an estimation for when this will be completed.

We will be working as expediently as we can on a fix for the issue, and provide updates as often as we can. Thank you very much for your understanding.

ehmm while a back.. they did a roll over.. something to do with being able to open the same chest over and over again...

There have been several found exploits so far.
Bonding with familiars was bugged in such a way that you could bond with them multiple times during the same day (that's where/why the "mistakes were made, you can probably try again though" message came in. Temp fix to stop the script), mailing treasure would duplicate it (caused a roll back) and being able to breed dragons on CD and of the same gender by altering the code.
Wonder what they found this time...

This time someone very well known for being rich and generous was discovered to have been using an exploit that gave him infinite gems and treasure. He got banned and people are really, really pissed at him, heh.

Well that answers my question xD Thanks Lupis. Can't blame people for being pissed for that.

He made a tumblr post or something I think, confessing to his sins. God that sounds so wrong. But yeah, now that I think of it, I did hear of the other exploits when they happened.

One of my friends ended up being one of the people that he bought a dragon from, he was buying them for 50k gems and such. Many people were banned but unbanned when he confessed and everyone involved lost their gems, some even got negative in gems. Whether whatever gems people had prior to the case kept those gems or lost them along with the exploited ones I have no idea. Thusfar I think people who bought goods and gene'd their dragons up in gem scrolls have retained those items but with this maintenance, they may have those actions rewound and have the dragons return to normal and the items removed. Nooooo idea if its possible without performing a rollback on either those accounts or the site. In which case I hope they'd just leave them since those who got the gems in the first place iirc are all victims of the exploit and thought it to be a genuinely real and not someone having a bit of the 'christmas spirit'.

I didn't actually think they'd go into deep maintenance for it though. Or at the very least, not in the middle of the day. I was so over-freaking-done with the past exploits that caused the site to go down for days at a time I was nothing but piles of ash internally. So freaking frustrated with these people. Innocent intentions or not they shouldn't go tampering with other peoples shit.

Having to exhalt dragons cause no one will buy them even for a little treasure is disheartening...exp since I need some more treasure for my lair upgrade

They've been shut down most of the day :3 Exploits that were uncovered a few days ago plus lag that was going on today has had them shut things down. No rollover is expected for now and they'll have an update on their progress tomorrow morning ^^

Exploit was one or more people producing an infinite amount of currency for themselves and one decided to go out and buy massively expensive priced things and a bunch of people got banned, then unbanned after the culprit who spent the gems came forward (whether there's others or not I have no idea but the exploit's methods supposedly became public info a good while ago on tumblr or something so there's a chance that there's other accounts with hidden stashes but I'm not gonna jump to conclusions on that xD)

My Mid/Crim Imp nest was supposed to hatch at rollover and I got a message from the person who has the WC I really want this morning but I can't check the message or hatch the nest till all this crap is done TT_TT
