Faron and Vallrok, Eastern Plaguelands

Vallrok turned in the saddle, picking up his crossbow again. He aimed towards the flying druid and shot a bolt, while Faron nudged the Windrider towards the ground. Planning ahead, he made sure the troll had ice and fire traps. Those would be needed when they distracted the group.

Azunara
Western Plaguelands

Azunara barely dodged the bolt, it skimming and taking a bit of her shoulder. She cawed fiercely, in pain, and flapped hard to stay aloft, glaring. She did fall back, choosing instead to watch. She'd rest. Wait. And when they lowered their guard...She'd come for them.

Indigosa, Lahzuli, Julianne, and Alarial--Western Plaguelands

Indi had seen Azu in the air trying to take on the two hunters. Is she daft? she sent mentally to Kozri, baffled as to why the druid was attempting suicide. She continued to follow after Lahzuli.

Alarial was growing increasingly more worried. Indi seemed to be acting awfully harsh and this whole setup just felt bad. She hoped they would be okay.

Lahzuli was panting following after the kitten. She gave a small whine being in a place as dead as the Plaguelands.

Julianne had to catch ground on the others, running as fast as she could without straining herself.

Azu/Kozri
WPL

"I wonder that myself. She's still alive, at least." Kozri replied to Indi, then asked Azu, "Kid, what were you thinking? Did you want to be roast dinner?" Azunara gave a grumpy sort of reply. "They were trying to hurt us. I was going to stop them. Besides, Indi's acting all mean and weird and it's making me nervous. I'd rather face Lightning Wolf, his troll pet, and that hunter with the snake then stick around with a grumpy Indi."

Kozri blinked in surprise. It...was decent logic, he supposed. Childish. Stupid. But it was Azu's' way of thinking, and sometimes it made sense. With a sigh, he picked up the pace, keeping an eye out for any possible traps.

Azunara took a place in a tree, shifting to feline form. She could still smell and hear her targets, which was a relief. She laid down in it, resting. They wouldn't find her here. And if they passed by, it was a great ambush point.

Rosaliah--Western Plaguelands

They approached the field their plan was set in and Rose began flying downward to land. "How are we doing this? Stand in the open or hide in a building?" she asked Faron. Once she land she began setting up traps near the entrance point Fayng would lead the others through. She smiled as she worked, imagining their opponents' shock as snakes, explosives, and an ice slick appeared from under them.

((Time for you to play catch up. Although I'm not sure how far we can advance since Rose is kind of waiting on Faron and I think Lupis and Azu went to bed. >_>))

((Oh, I've already done that. I just can't see anything for my characters to do. Decay is melee and Sat is out of range.))

((They can at least run to the farm? =P Idk, we're kinda stuck I s'pose.))

((Well. Azunara's watching now, so she won't trigger anything for now. So yeah, it's up to the others to mess with the trap.

Saturo - Field

Saturo entered the field, walking dramatically slow. She had beaten the others there with Blink overuse and a rocket belt she took from a goblin along the way, and was feeling ready for whatever trap the cultists had set up. The markings on the robe were ablaze now, identifiying her as a member of the Cult of the Damned. She looked around, as a green flame eveloped her sword. ''Come out, come out, wherever you are!'', she yelled in a singing, joyful voice before launching a green firebolt in a random direction, causing an explosion of fel flame. Several burning squirrels ran away from the treeline, with squeaks of pain.

I was kind of waiting on Lupis though to figure out where the bad guys are stashing themselves at, but I can improvise.))

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

After setting her traps, Rose remounted her wyvern and landed on top of one of the buildings. She pulled out her gun, silencer still attached, and a dusty blanket. She shooed the wyvern away and lay down on her stomach, throwing the blanket over herself as cover and aiming at the direction she knew the others would be running in from.

Lahzuli saw the kitten run ahead through an open field. She began slowing her pace, not wanting to get stuck in a trap like last time. She faded into the shadows, whining nervously.

Indi, not seeing the cat disappear, ran straight after the kitten, triggering Rose's traps. "I swear to Malygos I'm going to kill that hunter," Indi grumbled to herself as a myriad of snakes, fire and ice lit up underneath her. She began boiling the blood of all the snakes, attempting to swing her axe at them.

Alarial saw Indi hit the traps and immediately surrounded the death knight in a protective shield, chanting renewing energy for Indi.

Rose grinned from her perch as she saw the death knight trigger her traps. Fayng ran happily, and safely into one of the buildings. Rose had decided to sacrifice her usual skill with survival and go for brute force. As Fayng ran into a large barn, a giant black devilsaur came running out with an ear piercing roar.

Lahzuli whined in fear as she saw the devilsaur and Alarial exclaimed, "By Elune!"

Indi looked up and her face dropped as the great beast rushed her; she barely had time to parry an attack from its massive head.

Azunara and Kozri
Western Plaguelands

Azunara soared overhead, diving down at the devilsaur and trying to use her talons to rake its face. Kozri snuck up from behind and began slashing at its legs with his weapons, hoping to inflict enough pain to bring it down. Worse comes to worse, he'd take his drake form and fight it that way.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

Rose frowned as she saw Tyrant come under assault. Where were that damn mage and wolf?! She chanted a quick heal spell for Tyrant while the devilsaur continued to hound the death knight. She aimed the gun for the rogue trying to take out Tyrant's leg, aiming a fire trap in her launcher under his feet; she fired the trap, preparing a poisonous bullet next.

Indi began sweating as the devilsaur continued to try and bite and headbutt her, occasionally lashing out at her with his long legs. The devilsaur lashed out with his tail at the rogue behind him. He gave a quick snap at the bird by his head, roaring ferociously.

Alarial was tossing out heals and shields as quick as she could, wondering why a devilsaur was the only thing they seemed to be fighting.

Lahzuli snuck around behind the devilsaur, opening up with ferocious attacks on the dinosaur's legs. Julianne shimmied up a tree and kept an eye out for the other hunter whatever else it was they were after; the others would be enough to take down the devilsaur.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Azunara squawked, quickly moving out of reach. A quick thought from Kozri and the druid shifted targets, quickly leaping down, shifting in mid air and fading into the shadows, making her way over to Rose.

Kozri cursed angrily as flames sprang up near his feet, and he rolled away, putting them out. Alarial's healing kept serious burns at bay. "Cover the huntress and I can take care of the devilsaur myself," Kozri called out to the others, getting ready to take dragon form. If they could keep her busy, he wouldn't have to worry about taking bullets to the wings. His scales could probably deflect the worse at least.

Rose saw the night elf druid disappear and she cursed under her breath, wondering if her disguise had been seen. She quickly threw a flare around herself that would pull any enemy targets out of stealth and she dropped a freezing trap.

She loaded a large, blunt bullet designed to daze a target and fired it at Kozri.

Indi frowned. "This isn't right," she said. "What happened to the zappy wolf and his troll buddy?"
