((I saw that at one point. Was all, "Okay. Can't attack Rose. She's on a roof." And then by the next post I had totally forgotten that. *sighs, shaking her head.* I'm such an idiot. XD))

Azunara and Kozri

Azunara could track the scent, even if it was tainted with mud, well enough. The only really huge glaring problem she saw was the fact that Rose was on a roof of some sorts. How the fel would she get up there? Bird form and she'd be shot and lose her cover. Try to climb it would take too much time. If only Indi or Decay could pull her down....

The druid snarled as she heard the soft hiss of a flare, growling even deeper when the shadows were chased away. She stuck her tongue out in Rose's general direction, then looked back at the others, keeping an eye on the trap.

Kozri meanwhile was still dodging the flames while trying to inflict damage, occasionally lashing out with magic. So he didn't hear the bullet that hit him, and he scowled, disoriented. His head hurt considerably now, and his vision was blurry. He haphazardly fell back to try and get a safe distance to recover.

((No worries, she's attackable if she slips up and someone sees the blanket move or something; I don't want her to be invincible.
And yeah, Indi or Decay could pull her down if Azu could give them Rose's location. ))

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

Indi was growing weary of fighting the dinosaur. The black devilsaur was a powerhouse of a beast, supplied endlessly by his mistress's healing. She cursed as a round hit her in the arm and then exploded, knocking her to the ground and sending her axe flying. "Son of Neltharion!" she hissed, grasping at her arm.

The devilsaur took its attention away from Indi and turned around to face Kozri, roaring fiercely in the rogue's face.

Alarial gasped as she saw Indi go down. She immediately let herself slip into the shadow and began healing Indi with it.

Julianne had been watching the rooftops carefully for some sign of the other hunter. When she saw the flare go up, she called out, "There! On that rooftop! If someone could just pull her down."

Decay - Field

Decay had noticed the flare go up as well, but was more cautious than the others, instead sneaking her way around. With an ghoulish leap she reached the rooftop, landing right next to the ranger. The blanket didn't do much for protection at this close range, the ranger being easily noticeable. "Kim'jael.", she said loudly to the ranger, unsheathing her weapons. In the background another fel explosion lit up the area, the gnome starting to get annoyed. Decay sighed, a thin layer of ice forming over her.

((Kim'jael means little rat.))

Rosaliah--Western Plaguelands

"Fel!" Rose exclaimed as she rolled over on to her back, eyes wide. She aimed the gun at Decay. She was trapped in this position; if she could stand up, she could leap backwards off the roof and get into a better firing position.

Decay - Field

"I wonder what you taste like...", she muttered as she walked closer to the ranger, ready with a heavy swing. "Minty?"

She aimed a quick jab at the ranger, aiming to infect her with Frost Fever and Blood Plague. Wasting no time, she immediately swung with her other sword, aiming a massive blow. ((Outbreak and Obliterate))

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Azunara looked up, grinning at Decay. She wasn't sure if Decay could see it, but it gave her and Kozri the chances they needed. Azunara shifted forms, taking to the roof and then shifting easily and landing on her paws. Blankets weren't useful when she had her nose and ears in play.

Kozri, trusting Decay to keep Rose occupied, allowed his human form to fall away. He wasn't quite as big as the devilsaur, but he had magic and speed. He matched the devilsaur's roar with his own screaming roar. Tucking his wings, the dragon launched a blast of magic, following it up with a lunge.

((Lupis still can't post so poor Rose is all alone for this fight; feel free to take her hostage, I'd rather her not die though. ))

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--Western Plagueland

In a last ditch effort to try and save herself, Rose rolled away from the first blow, positioning herself sideways, then let Decay's second blows hit her. Just like she had thought, the death knight hit her with enough force to send her rolling off the rooftop. Rose crashed to the ground with a grunt and quickly stood on her feet, aiming a blunted concussive shot at Decay.

Indi had finally retrieved her axe, her wounds not as painful thanks to Alarial's quick work. She saw the huntress hit the ground and grinned. A bolt of shadow leapt out from Indi's hand and pulled the hunter to her.

Rose yelled out in surprise. She hung her gun over her shoulder and unhooked the daggers at her hips, using them them to get a leg hitting swing on Indi before making a huge leap backwards ((wing clip and disengage respectively)). She quickly put her daggers away and ordered Tyrant to change targets to the death knight in front of her. Indi was slowly making her way to the hunter. Rose was looking increasingly more worried as she got no help.

Tyrant roared and ran around the dragon, taking a claw blow to his leg. He ignored it and ran full force at the death knight, ramming his massive head into her back and sending her sprawling to the ground. He roared ferociously as he stamped a foot onto her back as well, causing her to scream out in pain. ((Rose's pets are as cruel as she is. >_>))

Kozri and Azunara
WPL

Azunara gave a harsh shout, "Indi!" She leaped off the roof with a pounce, trying to tackle the huntress, rage filling her again. "You'll pay for hurting my friends."

Kozri gave a savage roar, flaring his wings and taking into the sky, then crashing down, trying to use impact to throw the devilsaur off its feet.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

Alarial was becoming strained trying to keep Indi alive and well as well as trying to take care of the others. If the fight didn't end soon she would faint.

Tyrant, the devilsaur, was thrown to the ground from Kozri's attack. Rose looked over at him, worried, and in that split second, was tackled to the ground from Azu. Cursing, she uttered a word in Thalassian and she began swinging her polearm in front of her, deflecting Azu's attacks ((deterrence)).

Enraged, Lahzuli launched herself at the huntress, only to be, once more, encased in ice. Rose lobbed a snake trap down in front of her, hoping the druid would trip it, before launching herself backwards once more. She quickly fired an explosive shot at Kozri, hoping to give Tyrant enough time to get back on his feet.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Azunara called, "Kozri! Watch it!" Distracted, the trap triggered and she gave a savage cry of pain and anger as snakes began striking her. She slashed at them with her claws, biting down on one savagely, leaping away from the source. She hissed at Rose, and fell back, shifting forms and taking energy from the wilds nearby to free herself of the poison.

Kozri roared in pain as the charge exploded near his wings, front legs and chest. The burns hurt, and he shook his head. He cursed angrily in draconic, tucking his wings once more, muttering, "Dammit. Should've known better." Shaking his head, he used his tail to smash at the devilsaur, slashing and biting.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

Tyrant roared in pain as the drake's tail crashed into his side. He went skidding across the ground and lay still. Enraged, Rose ran over to his side and began trying to desperately heal the poor beast. "How dare you!" she yelled at the drake, firing off another explosive round at him.

Alarial struggled switching from healing Indi to trying to heal Kozri. She had all but fainted.

Julianne fired a freezing trap beneath Rose's feet, encasing the hunter in a block of ice.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

"Koz!" Azunara cried, shifting and adding Alarial. He managed to shield his wings, but his front claws and chest were scorched. He scowled irritably, hissing in pain. At least the huntress was crippled. "Give me a minute...I'll try and send her out." He said, wincing. Azunara darted over, healing him as best as she could. The grass around them was dead, as well as a few ant colonies and a few field mice to close to them. Normally, the druid would cringe and feel bad, but she was too worried about Koz and the group's general state.

After a few second, he put on his human disguise, taking out his dagger and slipping into the shadows, moving behind Rose. As soon as the ice faded, he'd bash her on the head.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli, and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

The ice around Lahzuli faded and she dropped to the ground with an angry hiss. She looked around her real quick and then realized they were no longer in danger.

Indi slowly got to her feet, extreme pain coursing through her body. She had seen Koz move into position so she heated the blood of the huntress, breaking the ice so he could make his move.

Azunara and Kozri

Azunara had shifted, watching out for the lightning wolf, just in case. Kozri moved, smashing the hilt of his dagger against the huntress' skull. "That should do it." He muttered to himself, nodding thanks to Indi. He was ready to go to sleep, really. Sleep would be nice. The burns itched and bothered him, despite the healing.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Lahzuli, Alarial, and Julianne--Western Plaguelands

Rose fell, unconscious, to the ground.

Indi nodded to Kozri, collapsing back to the ground.

Julianne climbed out of the tree she was in and ran over to Alarial. She pulled the priestess into a sitting position against a tree. From a pouch on her belt, she pulled out bandaids and offered them to both Kozri and Indi. Indi took one with a grateful smile and made use of its brief healing power.

"We'd better hope those others don't decide to show up," Indi muttered. We nearly got beat down by one hunter and her pet.

Lahzuli walked over to the fallen devilsaur hoping it wasn't dead. She had seen what happened to hunters when their precious pets died and she would feel bad if they had killed this pet, even if he was trying to kill them.

((Stop distracting me, forums! I havta draw! ))

Azunara and Kozri

Azunara was keeping watch at the edge for the Lightning Wolf, ears pricked. Kozri took the bandages and began applying them, digging a potion out from his bags and draining that as well. He'd live for now. He sat down on the grass, muttering. He shouldn't have exposed his wings. It was a stupid mistake and he was lucky he didn't come off with worse.

Alarial--Western Plaguelands

Alarial awoke with a start, taking a second to take in her surroundings. She sighed as she saw the battle was over and cursed at herself for having strained herself so quickly.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Kozri had more or less laid down in the grass to take a quick rest to recover. They'd probably wake him up if they were under attack, right? And having stuff explode in your face, plus the long flight to Undercity, was practically enough to make an elder dragon tired, let alone a small drake like him.

Azunara glanced back at the others, before resuming her position at guard, ears pricked, looking every inch aware. So aware, that when a small spider came from behind, then skittered across her paws, she leaped into the air with a panicked squeak, flinging the spider away. She blinked, then sat back down, looking a bit demoralized. "...It was a big spider...." she mumbled.

Indigosa--Western Plaguelands

Indi giggled at Azu. "Of course it was," she replied, trying to make the druid feel better. "Thing was bloody huge, I saw it."

Lahzuli tilted her head in curiousity.

Azunara
WPL

The druid brightened a little, "Hopefully it didn't fly anywhere too serious. Like someone's face." She peered at the group, looking for the Huge-But-Really-Tiny-Spider, before blinking, and snapping back to her position as guard, grinning a bit.

((Out for sleep. And yeah. Azu totally shares some of my dislikes. Hates the cold, afraid of spiders...xD))
