Warning: Post contains spiders and spider behaviour. Stop reading if it makes you uncomfortable!
---
More random than happy, I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and happened to see a daddy-long-legs spider (the type with the small body and long, spindly legs) fighting with a crane fly about the same size as itself on my bed. Spider won and I had the mildly disturbing liberty of watching it kill and wrap the crane fly before trying to carry it away. I rarely get the pleasure of seeing something like that up in the corners of my room, let alone right next to me. Kind of fascinating... if a little creepy.

(Funny that this is right under Varethyn's post... which of course I never read. xD)
I got my first spider today! As in I got rid of it on my own. Normally I'd flip my shit and run and get my boyfriend but nope, I went to the loo and there was a small-ish spider on the sink. It made me jump but I managed to get rid of it without a fuss. I have some serious arachnophobia so while it might sound dead pathetic to some, I'm proud of myself for my mini self-achievement. c:

Lady at the shop gave us the discounted mince even cheaper than it already was since we always come in looking for it. Love when people recognise you as a local. ♥

Ever since we finished settling down in our new house, my fiance's been so much happier. He really, really wasn't happy living with our last housemates, the disgusting slobs that they were. Now we're living with friends and only friends (Clean ones at that! I could've jumped for joy when I came downstairs yesterday morning to find my best friend had cleaned and organised the entire kitchen, it was previously still a bit of a mess from people unpacking their things which was understandable but eee he cleaned it all and I'm not used to this.) and we both love it.
We took a walk into town yesterday and he was just jumping for joy all over the place, I've never seen him so happy to go into town with me. I think he's also pleased to finally be living with people who will play RPGs with him too, I'm just not into them and don't have the patience for them so I couldn't do them with him. (': Not only that but we're both just so, so happy with our new room. Our other house was horrid and while our new house isn't perfect, it's miles better than the last... and the rent is cheaper too! I'm so pleased with how our room looks as well I just... I love it so much. (':
And another thing, two days in a row now we've made dinner before other people and when they've made theirs, they cleaned our dishes for us! We returned the favour the next day and did theirs for them of course and aaahh I lovelovelove living with friends and not random idiots. I'm so used to people shoving my dishes into corners when they want theirs done or just ignoring dishes altogether.
Sorry for the long post I'm just eee so so happy with my life right now after a year of constant worry and depression. ♥

Glad that your living situation is much better than before, Snowy!
I finally found a (poor-quality) Minfernal and now I never have to step foot in Felwood ever again :'D
The only pet I need from Kalimdor now is the Snowy Owl, stupid seasonal pets >__< But all I need to do is ~87% of the Pandarian pets and then the Owl will be the only one I need ughguh

So glad you are doing so much better after your move, Snowy. It was always painful reading the rant posts you made about your old roommates.
My happy post:
AHHHHHHHHH! I'm picking up my best friend in a few hours to start our vacation. I'm so excited and nervous. I'm shaking. haha
