Someone wanted to buy some gems and we arranged a transaction... I sent her the gems and never got my money for them. I'm so mad right now..

Sadly the administrators wont do anything about it. They've got some clause somewhere that users of the sight should be able to trade fairly between each other. It happened when one of the older users who was a kickstart helper loaned her Boolean to a few people for them to at least get the achievement for it. Someone decided to keep it. They got it back for her because it was a rare item but said they'd never interfere with player transaction again.

Yeah, there was a big post some time ago about the site not officially supporting dragon lending (because I guess someone had lent their dragon to someone for breeding and then they kept it) and that you did it, and anything else like that, at your own risk.

To be fair, since things like familiars and gems aren't 'earmarked' with an originator, and even with dragons it's hard to easily verify who owns it, unless they stuck in a ridiculous amount of tracking code that'd probably bog the site way down, they can't -verify- what people say in these cases. It's just one person saying 'hey that's mine they never gave it back' and the other person saying 'nuh uh, it's mine, they're trying to steal it'. Currency would be even harder to track.

Ask them anyway. Right after the crackle scroll.was released Moonie sent it to me to preview, only it went to someone else with a similar name she contacted the admins and they sent the scroll to me and I got it back to her. It took a few days, but they did it. We didn't expect anything.

She FINALLY got back to me and sent me my money. I realize trading is a risk but it doesn't excuse thievery under false pretenses which I've seen happen and that is, pardon my language, simply fucked up.

I only said it because people don't realise it's a thing the Mods said they wont do anything about it. I was trying to be helpful to others.

They need to set up an actual item and currency trade system instead of making excuses not to help people for not having a trade system for said items in the first place.

They are pretty good at making up excuses for everything really. "oh why is your game near un-playable sometimes" "herp a derp I dunno what I'm doing!" Etc etc XD

I like how every time it's time for the marketplace to refresh, the site bogs out and completely refuses to load as 40293842092348 people try to get a crackle scroll.

Meantime it locks up the site for everyone else. Nevermind the fact I haven't seen a crackle scroll like....ever.
