Rosaliah--WPL

Rose reached out to Faron, burying her face in his ruff. "I wish you didn't have to go with that horrid gnome," she whispered. "Promise to keep in touch?"

Azunara
WPL

The druid struggled to catch the words but couldn't. She moved back a few paces, listening to the occasional squeal of a dying animal and allowed herself to give a quiet, fearful whine. Things were bad. Really bad. What could they do against the gnome? And demon-titans? She knew enough from various mouths that Titans were big and scary. Demons were definitely bad. Put those together and...Another quiet whine. Afraid. She should return to the others. But...she had to find out what she could. Listening for the gnome still and trying to keep the panic from swallowing her, she crept forward to listen as best as she could.

Kozri
WPL

The human could catch a sensation of fear from the druid, but she still was unhurt, so no fighting had started. They hadn't caught her, or they were ignoring her. Or it was a trap. He hoped for the first two, leaning against the tree, cursing quietly. He'd go after her if he wasn't so tired or injured.

Faron, Western Plaguelands

Faron grinned lopsidedly at her. "Of course, if I can manage to. I'll survive, Rose. I've managed to so far, at least, with a few complications." The extra healing had his leg a little stronger, but it still hurt to put pressure on. "Though knowing Saturo, I'll end up everyone's worst enemy. As if being a Cultist wasn't enough." He tried to keep bitterness out of the troll's voice for her sake, but he wasn't feeling particularly hopeful for his future.

Rosaliah--WPL

Rose brightened a bit. "What if you come be a prisoner with me? Since you're injured anyway, what if you turned yourself into the others? Maybe they'll keep you safe too."

Faron, Western Plaguelands

Faron blinked, tilting his head. That was an option he hadn't thought of. Then again, he doubted they would trust him in the least. It was overall a distasteful thought, turning himself in just because of a broken bone. That wasn't really the worst part, though. If he turned himself in, then Saturo would either rejoin the adventurers, or simply go after them again. That meant both Rose and himself were in danger, and if she carried through her idea of Demon-titans, then they hadn't a chance.
"I'm not sure if that's safe for you. What if Saturo attacks us? Then you're in danger too, not just me."

Rosaliah--WPL

"If we're with that group of adventurers, then they'll fight against Saturo too, and if they're as goody-goody as I think they could be, they may also have the races and factions on their side if Saturo decides to go apeshit and try to destroy the world. I don't think very many people would let that gnome get away with whatever it is she wants to do." Rose looked and felt desperate and she felt they had a better chance of survival by sticking with the adventurers than trying to follow Saturo.

Faron, Western Plaguelands

Faron tilted his head, thinking out loud. "It does sound like the best option we have. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of going along with Saturo. I just don't want to risk getting you killed too, seeing as you, at least, are innocent here. Can't say as much more myself." He figured that maybe one of the adventurers would accept him. The rest - especially that one death knight that smelled like rotted lizard roast - would probably try to slit his throat.

Rosaliah--WPL

Rose smiled. "I hope you learned your camouflage. Come, follow me!" She darted over to the troll, grabbing his hand and then disappearing into the shadows. She hoped Faron and Vallrok had picked up the trick as well; it would make getting back to the others a lot easier. She began leading the troll through the brush back toward the make-shift camp.

Faron and Vallrok, Western Plaguelands

Faron nodded, and the two faded into the background. Faron limped a bit less as he followed, but not much. He was getting the feeling that Vallrok's healing wasn't exactly up to par. Great, just when he needed it... Hopefully he wouldn't get them caught. He kept his nose to the sky, sniffing the air. If Saturo found them, they were dead.

Rosaliah--WPL

Rose led Faron and Vallrok through the brush back to the make-shift camp. As she came through the bushes and up to where Tyrant was lying, she let herself reappear from the shadows looking a bit sheepish.

"Everyone," she said nervously, "Faron and Vallrok are turning themselves in." Rose could only hope that the group wouldn't try to kill him. Without realizing it, she took a protective stance in front of Vallrok and Faron.

Kozri and Azunara
WPL

The human lurched up as best as he could, tense. He didn't see Azunara...He scowled, unsheathing a dagger and staggering upright. He winced, slipping into draconic as he cursed the wolf, the huntress, and himself for being so weak. He was glad none of them would catch it. Indi probably would, but not much he could do about that. "Azu? You good? They've come back. Learn anything useful?"

"They don't like her anymore than we do, Koz. Or at least from what I could tell. They talk too quietly." She said sourly, and Kozri smiled despite himself. "You've returned, elf, and you brought your wolf friend. Why?" He figured he'd ask them. They knew the truth more or less, so if they lied, he'd know.

Rosaliah--WPL

Rose frowned. "I already told you why. He's in no more condition to fight you all than I am. We're turning ourselves in." She nodded matter of factly.

Faron, Western Plaguelands

Faron eyed the adventurers warily, leaning on Vallrok. ((Alllmost typed that Ktherok... D&D's getting to me.)) He didn't act openly hostile, tail flicking a bit, but he had to admit that this seemed much better than helping the Warlock. She was no doubt going to be torn apart by the beasts and demons she tried to control anyway...
He hoped the gnome wasn't going to attack them for betraying her until he was sufficiently healed. And, preferably, a fair distance away.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

"Even if they wanted too, they couldn't hurt us very well. Me, Luare, Lahzuli and Julianne would keep you guys safe." Azunara said, and appeared out of the shadows in roughly the same direction they came out of, darting over to Kozri, looking extremely happy to back with the others. "How long do you think before the gnome finds us?" Kozri asked, and Azunara gave a worried shrug. Kozri thought, and finally said, "Alright. We could use all the help we can get against Her. Try and stick a knife between our backs, however..." He drifted off, leaving the threat open-ended. The two of them could probably guess what the group could do to them.

"Do you think they would try and betray us, Koz?" Azunara asked, and the human shook his head. "No. Not now at least. Too weak. Maybe when the gnome is dead, they'll try it. But before that? Not with her looming over our wings. Too big a threat."

Indigosa, Alarial, Rosaliah, Lahzuli and Julianne--WPL

Indi's face lit up with a wicked grin when she saw Rose return with Faron and Vallrok. "Well this should be interesting," she mumbled to herself.

Alarial awoke with a start near Faron and Rose and jumped to her feet exclaiming, "By Elune! What is HE doing here?"

"We've turned ourselves in," Rose answered, sitting down next to Tyrant. The priest warily sat down next to her, giving healing to both the devilsaur and Indi.

Faron, Western Plaguelands

Faron nodded lamely at Rose. He sat down, letting the troll continue healing his leg. "If it helps, I know a bit about what she's planning," the troll's voice admitted. "I haven't decided wether it's a deathwish on her part, or doom for us." He glanced over at Azu, wondering how much she had heard.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Azunara twitched and recoiled under Faron's gaze, looking at him carefully. He was too smart to attack her for spying, right? And she was doing it for their safety. She was pretty sure he'd do it in the same circumstances. If they ever happened.

Kozri sat down, wincing. "Azu said something about demon-titans?"

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli, and Julianne--WPL

Lahzuli resumed her position by Indi's side, lying down as she kept ear and nose out for any danger.

From out of the barn, the night saber kitten came darting, running over to rose and flopping over on her back begging for belly rubs. Rose giggled and complied, scratching and praising the kitten. She continued to apply her healing energies to Tyrant. The black devilsaur groaned in his sleep, tiny arms twitching in some sort of dream.

Indi scratched Lahzuli's ruff, much to the druid's pleasure and looked about warily. "We really need to move somewhere safer," she said, not sure if the group was up to par with moving. They still looked rather exhausted.

Azunara and Kozri
WPL

Azunara nodded, "Yeah. The faster we get out of here, the better." Kozri didn't reply. Indi was right, they had to get moving, but he wasn't sure how his wings were healing up, and was still tired from his flight. He finally said, "Right. Ready whenever."

((Kozri's the type to push himself to the point of collapse. Stupid dragon. xD))

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Alarial, Lahzuli and Julianne--WPL

Indi whistled for Khaz, the skeletal gryphon flying down to her with a squawk. Lahzuli jumped up in surprise, fur fluffed out. When she realized what was going on, she stalked around in a circle trying to smooth her fur down.

Alarial whistled for Avalanche, the white armored gryphon flying down and landing in front of the priest. She immediately started preening herself.

Rose called for her wyvern as well as digging out a small remote from within her bags. She punched in a few commands on it and a little bit later a gyrocopter came whirring over to her. She carefully began trying to lift Tyrant onto the wyvern, hoping the creature would be able to handle the weight of the devilsaur.

Once she had her fur smooth, Lahzuli shifted into her giant bird form while Julianne began putting her flying harness on.
