THAT color isn't bad.

[edit] Oh nevermind, I missed that it was put up. The white version that was shared on wowleaks before had transparency issues so I'm glad it was fixed!
The white one is the most bearable of the lot for me, but I think the colors of each one really take away from the fact that they are bears. It's a little too much troll.

That's because the first person to get to the bears missed it, and I had yet to get this one to flux till now.

Y'know.. that one really points out to me how they have very angular noses. I'm fairly certain the worgen noses aren't quite like that.

I think the bear forms have the ability to look good depending on the in-game lighting. The only think i think it needs is to use a desaturating tool on certain areas. What do you think? If im not allowed to post edited pictures, feel free to take them down. This was just a very quick edit in photoshop.

Wow, those look AMAZING! You should send it in to Blizz, because the trolls deserve better bearforms, and yours are good bearforms. :)

I really think your desaturation on these guys is a big improvement but I still have a problem with blue/green bears. >_< For the Night Elf purple and pinkish bears they tried to keep them closer to a brownish hue, I can't figure why they had to choose to rely so heavily on Troll skin color. All of the Troll animal transformations in the past stuck with a natural color and with the upcoming Troll event even those druids are orange tigers so what's wrong with this batch of druids? They really seem to want to stand out. -_-
I'm feeling rather sleepless/restless so I hope you don't mind that I made a quick comparison so others can see the difference in your work. o_o
Here's the in-game forms for a reminder:

Skin color?
I always thought the color of the fur was based on the characters hair with of some of the punk colors defaulting to brown. Like my purple haired NE has
a brown coat in bear form but is a purple coat in cat.

Hmm.. for the Night Elves it seems like they used a bit more harmony in colors for the cats and bears. While hair color selects the forms I find the colors they chose also suit the skin tones of the elves a bit as well. They didn't even make a cat with any green to match the green hair. They also made a black bear and black cat to go with the dark blue hair.
For Tauren and Night Elves they worked more closely from the colors and forms of the original models they had and went from there. The bears are still quite similar in their manes like their old forms were, their ornament placements are similar to eachother. For the new races it looks like they decided to try and make them more wildly original. Worgens get manes and Trolls get mohawks, the decorations had more thought put into them and are more varied. In this vein I bet if they could do over the Night Elf bear it would have much more flowing or stylish hair.
The Worgen hair and body colors compliment each other rather naturally, as the Tauren's do. I'm guessing they'll also be selected by hair color, however the current body colors you can choose for Worgen also match up pretty well so either way would work. For the Trolls I'm totally sure that the hair color you choose is what's going to select your cat/bear, but instead of having that color apply to the body or the body compliment that choice better they've gone and added Troll skin tones which really clash. It gives it more of a feel that they just took Troll skins and spread them out over the cats and bears, rather than Trolls assuming an animal form.
Maybe they're so attached to themselves that it has left such a strong impression on their forms? That could apply to Worgen as well in how feral their forms look, but they would be more in tune with an animal side and already have natural coloration. Perhaps you could excuse it as those races may be using different methods to become druids and that Night Elves and then Tauren have simply had more practice... but I still don't want blue bears. >_>

Is it just me or does it look like the Worgen cat and bear forms are higher res than the Troll forms? It just looks like the Worgen forms are much more detailed and textured...

The Worgen Cat forms kinda remind me of the Lord of The Rings Worgs in the movies. The ones that the Orcs ride in on during the Hilltop Battle with the Rohanian.

I think you're right, they really do look higher rez. It gives me hope that these are just some very rough models and that they'll put more work into them... like fiddling with colors! Here is the last and only naturally furred bear:
Someone also made a video of them running:

Thank you Fael for making me have to pull out my photoshop again lol. Here is what that color would look like desaturated.

Okay, the last one actually looks decent.
But yeah, they actually look better moving than still. Like I'd actually buy that there's a troll in there. Tone down the colors slightly so they look slightly more natural and I'm okay with the look.

Now I am regretting not following this thread.
I do like the troll forms, very vibrant in color.
The Worgen cat forms give off a feeling of power, and danger. Love it.

The last one is decent due to it having a natural looking fur color - white. Now if Blizzard would change the neon blue and green fur colors...
I gotta keep on telling myself it's still only alpha and things can change. Well, they better change.
