I would be greatful if someone could help me with the sha crane or scorpid on EU Horde side. Conga # 2609

Twice now I've had 'your pet is not dead' but relogging found nothing. EDIT: It's not fixed but this bug can happen with the Sha cranes -- the slimmer part of the shoreline seems to have some phasing issues, which may be the case.

Well, my gf did some tames real early this AM, like around 4 or 5 AM server time on Nesingwary (central time zone) Couldn't get Kung Din, but did successfully tame two oil stained birds and an oil stained wolf.

Regarding the Sha Corrupted crane Dialga was mentioning. If someone on your server does not have the dailies or has even not done any of the quests to open up that faction, it will still show up to both of you for taming. My brother and I worked on the crane yesterday 1/1/2013. We tamed the pet around 8PM PST. We also had 2 of the fails where everything appeared to be successful but with a relog the pet did not show up in my stables. We kept at it however until the pet correctly showed up in the stables. Still confirmed to be working as of that date and time. Keeps buffs after death.

as of 10:53 est jan 2nd I tamed oil stained wolf, and I figured out what was going on with my tames. I had the issue where the rez would go off even after the pet dissapears and everything seemed successful, well this wolf I tamed at .01 sec left on the cast of tame beast and I used hotkeynet with a second account to make sure of the timing. Normally I got the tame at .03 but it seems it can be harder sometimes and this one went off at .01 and the rez started casting but interrupted at the end saying pet is not dead. now time to go fight with kung din again lol.

still no luck with kung din, my sniping is off could use some help please ,
got another oil wolf for my sniper buddy at 1.15 est

Confirmed that you simply have to be 90 to see these cranes AND have the daily up on your server. You cannot pull the cranes from the phased area out into the water for someone who doesn't have it up on their server. You do not need to be revered with the GL and be able to pick up the daily to see them if it is on your server.

Looking for some crane love ally / horde side willing to help with yours too; when it's up that is.

My daily is serpent again, if anyone needs help. You MUST HAVE THE SERPENT DAILY ON YOUR OWN SERVER UP for me to help. You do not need to be able to take the daily to see the cranes, it simply has to be available for someone who is.

my serpent dailies are up if you have time to help dailga, battletag is obi#1267 and I am alliance, gotta check if my horde toon has the dailies up(not up just checked ).

Rated battlegrounds are like arena in that they too wipe your old buffs.

I was thinking of getting Kung Din for my wolfy, anyone still will to help would greatly appreciated.

Accidentally tamed one of these with a Seek and Destroy buff on it.





This persists in death, and there's several different auras that can appear on wildlife in Dread Wastes. Green, Red, maybe something else, I forget. Trouble is, you need the Seek and Destroy buff on to see the effect.

Still kind of nifty and maybe appealing to someone out there.

Whoa! That's pretty cool. That buff though, is it buffing the pet...? If so, wouldn't it be a damage exploit like Blighthounds?

This buff doesn't buff the pet. If you were to kill wildlife with this buff in Dread Wastes you'd get stats after it died, but the pet itself is safe and harmless.

Seek and Destroy
A target of high priority. Grants exceptional strength, agility and stamina upon being slain. Must be under the effects of Seek and Destroy in order to gain this buff

The above DOES indicate that the scorpid DOES get a strength, agility and stamina buff upon slaying a mob while under the effect of Seek and Destroy. Which would also mean it would probably maintain the buff for a certain amount of time and could be considered an exploit buff since it does increase stats. I would be VERY cautious about that.
