I'm going to do what I always do with new content and that's wait a few weeks so the mad rush dies down.

I don't get the big fuss over this.. it's not that big of a deal... Most people are already more than halfway through this, simply by questing and do some exploring.

Very true.. if blizzard simply gave us flight, they would complain about being bored and how there is nothing to do...

Exactly! This makes me NOT envy their jobs....like seriously.

I should add that if you are missing a couple of the daily locations for Securing Draenor, you can buy the quest from the Garrison Vendor.

Every daily except Assault on the Pit. But I guess it makes since with it needing a group with the elites hitting as hard as they do. And also a Level 3 Trading Post can help with the rep grind with it giving a 20% increase to rep. You just have to get exalted with one of the other current WoD factions to get the achievement that unlocks the blue print.

Yeah I'm really glad I didn't destroy my trading post after getting the three current factions to exalted, lol.

Wait, the missives count towards the achievement? If so that is excellent! I can never seem to find the Skettis one.

Yes missives count and I'd actually recommend using them since some areas fill up with so many people doing their apexis dailies that it makes it hard to do them when they're the daily quest.

I've never done any of those quests for Securing Draenor... what are they like? I had (mistakenly) assumed they were solo instance garrison invasions.

I rarely group, so I'm leery to do so... are they difficult? is it like a dungeon?

I have a crap-load of garrison resources and have to continuously buy stuff from my trader to not be wasting any.

They're not too bad, especially with the Premade group finder! They're the apexis dailies in your garrison (you can solo a lot of them actually, it's just easier and more efficient in a group of 5). There's always listings in the group finder for whichever is the mission of the day, and then it's just a matter of joining one and getting yourself to the area and killing mobs for a bit. It's not a dungeon, it's just an area in a zone that's filled with elite mobs and such.

Wow, guess Blizzard and I were kind of on the same wavelength here. Added some stuff to what I suggested but I have to say I am very happy with this!

So it seems they wanted to make the game less alt friendly. When you get the silver proving grounds, it's not account wide like it was in MOP. Yet I can run LFR just fine.. So I don't understand the point of this proving ground. Not sure why it was even added back in, with WOD. We already "proved" ourselves in MOP, why do we need to keep proving yourself.

Cap your apexis before 6.2 and then re-do all missives so you can turn them in first thing for 9600 apexis.

I'm nowhere near the 60k cap for them...

Then you've got a couple of days to farm the shit out of missives :p

I spent time clearing up my WoD questing achieves, and King of the Monsters was a pain in the goddamn ass. Did that missive about half a dozen times.

I was trying to get a rep to Exalted, and I'm halfway through Revered, but I've exhausted all possible quests, cept maybe Shadowmoon valley. Still... I have 17k right now. I would need to do 53 Missives @ what ? 800 per turn in ? That's crazy..
