Got some shots of one of the mana saber mobs (located in Suramar). Eagle eyed from Obsidian Overlook (highmount) - look down and to the right in the court area of buildings. They look great in action and with the particle effects.

Suramar is open today - heres some stuffs

purple and orange spiders - yuckie


dark colored mana saber tame

there are some diseased bears and plenty of other stuff - hardly been around yet - there was a friendly bird - dark colored - was like a mix of raven and owl it almost seemed like - was dc'd before I get get a screenie - gonna eat and stuffs now before logging back in - so exciting though - hope we still get at least one spirit beast though - if not its all good - so much new stuff (skins/families) but - ya know - sb's rule

i found this little fellow in Suramar

Oh awwesome That accounts for 2 of the three new Draenor wolf colours.

Will Tortos be tameable or not? Who cares!?

These Lowland Manashells are a common mob in a section of Suramar. Surprising, but lovely to see the model finally tameable.

Does it still have the same death animation that Tortos has, where it crumbles into pieces?

I hadn't thought of that! Yes, it does! It crumbles to pieces when it dies

As much as I'm glad they are tamable, I'm REALLY surprised thats it's just a common mob

And if these are meant to be Mana Shells, a simple recolor to some thing more "Mana like" would have done the trick keeping Tortos unique... oh well.

It's possible they didn't want to, or couldn't, set Tortos tameable and wanted to put them somewhere. Either way, I'm very happy to see them in

If that might be the case, has someone checked Horridon, Oondasta, Thok etc. from MoP?

Edit: Just remembered that Tortos has collision on his model, so maybe they couldn't remove that with tame.

Man oh man, my friend was just complaining to me yesterday about Tortos still not being tameable. He's going to be so psyched when he sees this news.

I only keep one of each type of pet (excluding spirit beast and Carrion Bird), but I can't bring myself to get rid of Terrorpene. Gonna have me two turtles in Legion then! Also, if it still exists, I'm going to have fun with Glyph of Feign Death if it keeps the crumble death animation.

OMG Wain you just made my day I cannot wait to have a glowing blue rock turtle! So pretty. I think I'll make my hunter my main in Legion between that and the new bug.

awesome, the isle of thunder bosses are making it in , let us hope skyscreamers and armored dinos are next on the taming pass

Also any new skins for the new raptor model yet? I know there are recolors for the shaman doomhammer, but maybe a fel recolor could pop up, hopefully :3

As the dedicated turtle-kicker for my guild back in ToT raiding days, I cannot freaking wait to tame these. I can't. And I'm so happy its the same color.

Between this and manasabers, I'm a happy hunter ;_;

Now if I could just get a dreadwing/rock or unicorn, I might legitimately die of joy.
