Well considering that they go down a percent or 2 every 8 hours, that's not so bad. My dragons are all at 45% as of 2 seconds ago, which would have my lair at about 90% or so. I won't stress til they're below half health.

We went over this the last time the site was down, they pretty much always let the energy bars drop a fair amount before they go in and feed our dragons. Not to mention, think of just how many accounts and dragons there are out there to feed, it doesn't make sense to do it every time the 8 hour mark ticks. If i were them, i would do it just before the site comes back up since they're maintaining the bonus received from keeping them fed (unless for some of reason they can't separate those things, in which case, i would just feed them near the 80% mark).

I'm just stingy and don't want to pay 203498402394802394802394820348 treasure for something that I'm pretty sure if I hold out a couple of weeks will be down under 25k.

I'm just frustrated because 99% of the fun of the site is the surprise of hatching dragons and I haven't been able to, heh. (Also I'd like a goodie for the downtime but given the ravening maws of my swarm, I'd be super happy if it's just -food-. XD )

No worries, Nacht. If I get some pretty babies, I may be gifting them to those who dont have atleast one Coatl. :3

Secondary color could be a mane sort of thing? Like primary color could be body, secondary could be the fur/hair covering parts of the body?



Also thing to remember is that the artists are the artists -- while the site is down, they're taking the time to fix things that irk them with bits and pieces of what's already drawn or make new things for the site.
The coders are the people that code. And at the moment they're doing their best to fix this so it doesn't happen again.

They have their own, specific jobs for a reason; just because they're part of the staff doesn't mean that they can do everything required to run the site

Managed to hatch all my project nests. None of the hatchlings from the ridgeback nest will work. All female, I need a male. None of the spirals work either. A few are close but I think I'll keep trying till I get a male with steel/midnight or obsidian/white.
At least I have plenty of pairs to work with now.

Not bitchy at all. I see this sort of thing all the time when my PROFESSIONAL artist friends open for commissions. That and "You charge too much! WAAAAH!" crap.
When they're barely making minimum wage doing commission work.
At least on tumblr you can reblog and help spread the word for them. On sites like DA it's just annoying spam.

Subeta having consistent downtime and SQL pages made me quit, and now I just got my first SQL page on FR.

Just played my first game of Shock Switch in a looong time. Spent 30 mins on it before I stopped... No treasure is showing up Im going to be so mad if I dont get anything. lol.

Subeta has gotten better with it -- the holidays still manage to bring about downtime out the wazoo but that's to be expected with people doing so many things at once

Sorting through lair for dragons to safely clear out.
See four pairings with very similar ranges, two of which I'm not as happy with.
Can't get rid of one parent each from either "lesser" pairing because they were gifts and I feel obligated to keep them.
