What I did was /who all of the people selling them. I saw a mage with two on the AH for 23k, so I passed. He wouldn't even talk to me about his mounts, so most definitely bad news. Then I saw one go on the AH for a 21k bid and 22k buy and checked him out. Some Paladin from our new local favorite Horde 10 man raiding guild had put one up. Seemed legit from how rich I've heard those guys are, so I placed my bid and won it. I hope yours is legit, though. No one wants to support those horrible, horrible people.

I most certainly don't! It still weirds me out we're on the same server.

I wish the ones on our realm were that cheap! They're almost always around 40k. I did an ICC 25 HC last night but the guy with Shadowmourne, who was also the raid leader, wouldn't let us roll on the Crimson Deathcharger. I had no idea how it worked before, to be honest. I assumed the mount dropped in the normal loot off the Lich King if someone in the raid had the legendary. But nope, not only does this person get a legendary, but a free mount and tabard apparently too. Imo, not too fair, since the rest of us have to either hope they'll let us roll on it or buy it for a shitload of gold. :/ And don't they get a chest with the mount and tabard every single time they kill the Lich King on 25 HC? That's like... way easy money for them.

It's a long questchain to get that shadowmourne, the only way they get the loot is by finishing the questchain...they get a box with 4-5 items in it.

They do/did have to spend a lot of gold/time to get this done though, its not that easy.

And no, its a quest reward at the end, they don't get it every time...if they did those ponies would be like 5k if that. XD

I understand not letting pugs "roll" on it as most of them probably have either never been in there, or haven't been with him the whole time while he was making it. He's the main one putting the most effort into it...I always thought it was kinda poop for guilds to let members roll on the rewards XD

Oh thank god, that makes so much more sense. I'm so glad I didn't decide to demand he let us roll on it or anything, would've felt like an ass, haha.

But even so, getting that legendary on, say, a hunter is probably next to impossible. Maybe if you were leading the raid yourself and told everyone you were keeping the shards, but I can still see people complaining at that since 'hunters can't use that axe, blah blah blah'. Not that any other class actually uses it these days. Still. Something about it seems a tad unfair for some reason.

Well they can't complain, because you can't use it. Period. The quest is only available to DK/Pally/Warrior (shows on the link I posted).

So yes, Its impossible to get it on a hunter.

That's what alts are for...it IS a BoE mount. If you want it that bad suck it up and get one of those classes to go through the motions of that questchain.

I don't think so, afaik there are still some mechanic issues on some of them that wont let you solo it? I can't recall.

I don't know. Maybe on a hunter at least. xD Or I can just ride through achievement runs til it's LK kill time then be done... Urgh, I still need the Blood Council achievement on 10 man version. Last one I need. *facedesk*

There is, but the chances of seeing it drop? Slim. Chances of winning the roll? Slim. Chances the raid leader won't ninja it? Also most likely pretty slim. >___<

I started out as Alliance (certainly not on Arthas though), and swapped to Horde as main faction in BC. xD Oh my pretty little blood elves... now if only they could be druids too @.@ And shamans. I could have an army of Blood Elves! Mwahaha. No wonder I'm so hungry all the time...

There's a good amount of honest raid leads out there, there's also groups that go weekly and give "weighted" rolls to those that continue to show up, look for one of those!

As for bloodelves, har. I have one, but I prefer cows.

I love tauren. At least, I love their culture, I can't stand the models though. :/ I can't wait for the model updates simply so that I can bare to make a tauren character!
