I have been pretty quiet lately due to a mixture of school and just flat out slaving away at reputation farming. About two weeks ago my farming partner switched servers and factions so We haven’t been running raids together. We can solo by now of course but he helped me get Ony so I wanted to give him the first ashes we came across. Naturaly as soon as I heard he wouldn’t be running anymore I facepalmd and said. “But...but now that you said you can’t go it’s going to drop! >.<”
And naturally- it did. ;P

42 runs and two drops later this shows up on screen. (first one was ninjad like 4 years ago.) what a journey! I have come a long way from being the level 70 looking for PuGs and gazing longingly as Tk and saying “someday.” Well that day was today and just… wow! ^.^ Now I will probably turn to helping guildies get their mounts. I think all I have left are the Maly mounts then I’m out of things to solo. What a strange feeling. O.o


Also got a lucky drop from yorik today. so thats cool too. ;P also check out what some of the vale trinkets do to this guy.

also farming zg with a guildie now. i almost soloed bloodlord but messed up at 3% and decided to just two man it instead. Lets hope i get my raptor soon!

Quick question, is VOA super easy to solo at 90? I don't like tricky encounters, but I think a pet would fair well tanking it.

How many mounts are you up to now?

Oh congrats! I havent tried to solo kael yet, not sure on the strat and what not..

Oh royi voa was super easy at 85 so it should be even easier at lvl 90.

Royi- I only ran half the raid last time I got the mammoth but I basically just roflstomped the place. I could pretty much ignore the adds and stand in the fire and not worry. The frost one may hurt a bit if you don’t kill the orb but besides that it should be a cake walk.

Sasrei, kale is quite easy now. I am in ilvl470 gear and most of the encounter is laughable. you will still want to kite the first two advisors to the back of the room, pull the third over to the side and then kill the last one where he stands. If you don’t then there is a chance they will cc you do death when they rez. Last I checked you can equip the staff in combat and re-equip your ranged after kale fly’s up into the sky but I stopped using the staff. I just used stampede, BW and kill command/blink strike to dps him to half heath while I hid behind a statue to los the mc. I used a spirit beast tank so that my pet could heal itself in case I got mc’d. The disorient is annoying but you can mussel through anything he can throw at you now. The biggest problem is just getting MC’d at the same time your pet gets cc’d- causing the boss to despawn.

I am hoping to learn how to fly on Alyz & starting to farm her. I've always healed on my priest, so learning to fly will be my next challenge Tried it a few times and was 100% positive I was flying through the rings, but still fell out of the sky like an overweight-rock ><

I did what you said and was able to one-shot Kael. My hunter's got about 6 more ilvl points than yours does, and I kept my Loque in Ferocity. No need for Tenacity, even though he kinda got his bum stuck in a wall and I had to move weirdly to heal him. Didn't have to play with a staff, I mostly just played it safe and let Loque burn him down through the MC phase, then blew my CDs for the third phase.

Thanks a ton! :3 Now even I, a fail hunter, have the confidence to solo TK!

Also: I just soloed Kael'thas on my mage using the same placement strategy. So thanks again!

Now imma have to level my hunter after my DK gets 90. @_@

@ shade Awesome I’m glad it worked for you! your right there really isn’t much need for the staff anymore. I still keep my pet in tank spec though just in case I mess up and get Mcd and start attacking him >.<. Glad it worked for your mage too! Good luck on the farm!

@meggs you should be able to solo on a dk too. Obviously I haven’t tested it but I’m pretty sure he can’t MC you as long as you don’t have a pet/minion/bloodworm up. Most bosses can only mc if there are two or more things attacking him. I have a friend that was soloing him on his dk at 85 before I even had cata.

@royi Yeah I shrank it a while back and am happy that I did. The extra screen space is nice. =3 I may still get a ui addon if I can find one that works for me but I never have the time to set one up. xD

@ Sophistique you can solo Alyz now? I only ever killed her once with the guild. I thought about adding her to my list but haven’t looked into it yet. If a hunter can solo I will have to try it some time. Right now I am working on the blue and azure drake from maly and the mounts from ZG. Hunters can solo both bosses right now. (if you pop a snake trap just before decapitate then Blood Lord wont despawn. He will kill the snake and you will get a rez.) the timing is tricky though and I ran out of ghosts when he was at 3%. The biggest trouble is just gaining enough focus to dps him before he kills me again so im 2 manning it now. I have been after the raptor for like 5 years now so I can’t wait to get him!
Besides that I’m just working towards various MoP rep mount. Mainly the amber scorpion and black cloud serpent :Q....

I think you should get a maly drop soon, you're around the amount of kills I've seen most people get them at. :O

That’s what I’m hoping for! it would be cool to get the fabled double mount drop off him but even I’m not that lucky. Hoping for azure first though. *crossing finger* I need to find someone interested in the Maly mounts so I can bring them along after the first drop in case the same mount drops twice. I would hate to see either one of them have to go to waste because I already had it.

That reminds me of when my Azure Drake dropped... on my second run. And it was the run I took my boyfriend with me. And he rolled on it... and won. And pretended like he was going to keep it.

... But I think I sounded obviously upset about it over Skype so he gave it back to me.
