It indeed is and I'm not even that big of a fan of the cata ones. It must be new I can't find it in my live WMV.

It's the Cata crab model, which from memory was called DeepSeaCrab or something like that. However WMV has never been able to render the glowing markers on the skins. I don't know why.
Wassa is able to do it, but I'm not sure of her secret

Those two glowy skins aren't the regular deep sea crabs. The ones used in the game are just the regular non-glowy skins but with an extra glow texture added over it. It's that part that WMV can't seem to do.

I think you have to find the overlays and move them over manually since WMV doesn't know to use them.
I also wish we had some of the original glowing crabs. Those were pretty cool.

I'm pleased that Quilin are now beasts, that gives more hope for those who wanted to tame one. To me they don't seem so pet-like so I'm not interested in taming one myself but it is good to know so many people will be happy about this. (:

If Quilin are not tameable I'll honestly be surprised. XD

Woo, well spotted! Though those are the more purple looking "bronze" I ever saw
I see they're perpetuating the double spelling. Is it gonna be quilen or quilin? Hmm. Whatever way, it looks like half of the developers are doing it wrong
As you say, they sure look like they should become tamable. Cats, dogs or their own family? Hmmm

That one in particular reminds me very much of the pink-purple darkhound. Maybe they're supposed to be distant relatives

Wain I have a feeling the Mogu made them. They have the same style too them and they made most things in pandaland XD

Yeah I also have a strong hunch that the Mogu created them.
Ugh, come on Blizzard, update the bestiary!

The large sized images have been on my other list for ages (the one with more models on it that I link in the first post of this thread

) The dark wine one is a gorgeous colour. You can almost forget it looks like a Fisher Price toy

Awwww, now I'm totally picturing them as squeaky toys burrowing with their teeny feet!
I'm still having trouble considering them "official" too.

The resizing of the blue ones helped.

That dark purple one has lovely colours! The worms are cute, but not something I would consider to keep as a pet myself.
